Rubbing his hands together, Liam shifted nervously in his seat. The boys sat in silence. “Maybe I should go up to her?” Liam suggested, earning a nod of approval off the boys. He bit his lip and stood up, glancing at each of the boys before jogging upstairs. Knocking lightly on the door, it swung open, creaking slightly. Surprised that it was actually unlocked, he stepped inside to see that the room was vacant. “Carter?” he whispered, but he received no response.
He ran back downstairs and entered the sitting room. “Guys, she’s not here.” He told them. Shrugging, the boys looked at each other. “Maybe she’s just nipped out for a bit.” Louis suggested, but Liam wasn’t convinced. “Liam, the girl is 16, not 6, あなた need to give her some space.” Zayn spoke. “Fine. He glided along the footpath, shoving his hands in his pockets. He pulled out his phone and dialled Carter’s number, sighing when it went to her voicemail.

He put his phone back in his pocket and continued his aimless journey. Staring at the floor, his thoughts wandered around his head. His body collided with someone else’s and pages went flying everywhere. “Shit, I’m so sorry. I was kind of in my own little world anyways.” The stranger laughed, gathering the last couple of pages.
Liam looked up at the stranger and saw a beautiful girl smiling back at him. She had big curly hair with deep brown eyes, along with glowing tanned skin and a gorgeous smile. “I’m Liam.” He grinned, putting out his hand for her to shake, which she did. “Danielle.” She spoke. “So Danielle, what’s with all of these pages?” he chuckled. “It’s just college work, nothing extraordinary.” Danielle replied. “How about I buy あなた a coffee to apologize properly?” Liam winked. “I’d like that.” She nodded. Liam took her hand and led her into the nearest café.
“So, Liam. Harry was Carter’s best friend, at least that’s what I thought. I recently found out he had been bullying her for the past couple of years. When I came back, Carter had been in an accident and was diagnosed with depression and amnesia. Harry and her were now a couple, and I was honestly happy because he has made her so much better, she always smiled when he was around. But when I found out about what he did, I did what I thought was right and stopped him from seeing Carter. That night, me and Carter had a row and now she won’t speak to me. She had a check-up today for her depression, and I found out her depression and multiplied and she’s developed anorexia.” Liam finished, putting his head down.

You’re the reason I smile, the reason that I have one ounce of happiness in my life. Now look me in the eye and tell me I’d be better off without you.” Carter stated. Harry opened his mouth to speak, but found no words to say and soon shut it.
“You had your check-up today, didn’t you? How did it go?” Harry queried. “Good, the nurse just asked me a couple of 質問 and took a few tests. I think she told Liam the results. They’re probably fine. “Carter, wake up.” Harry whispered. Just then the nurse strolled in. “Ms. Payne, I’m going to have to ask あなた to wait outside for a moment. We just need to monitor Harry’s improvement.” She told her. “Okay.” Carter smiled, キス Harry’s lips before leaving the room.
She sat down on the chair in the waiting room, pulling out her phone and staring blankly at the screen. She felt someone’s presence beside her and looked around to see Liam sitting beside her. He smiled warmly at her, but she turned away from him.
“Please Carter; this has gone on long enough. Can’t we just talk?” Liam pleaded. Carter bit her lip in hesitance before turning to Liam. “Okay.” She nodded. “Look, I’m so sorry. She helped me out a lot today.” Liam explained, gratefully smiling at Danielle. “LIAM!” Niall roared, so Liam left.

Looking up at Harry, Carter bit her lip and nodded. Pressing his lips against hers, he smiled through the kiss, knowing that the one thing that made him happy in life had come back again, and he wasn’t planning on letting go anytime soon.
Maybe Harry and Carter were right… Maybe they were finally getting their happy ending.

Fluttering her eyes open, Carter glanced at her surroundings. Beside her she saw Harry sound asleep. She must have dozed off. Smiling, she hoped out of the hospital ベッド and stood up, wandering out of the room. On her way out, she was met によって Jenna. “Nice snooze?” Jenna chuckled. “Yeah… Sorry about that.” Carter blushed. “Oh its fine hun! I think that’s the first time you’ve smiled in quite a while, eh?” Jenna mused. Carter nodded and gazed at her feet, a smiled cracking on her lips. “Your friend Harry was very lucky to make it あなた know, he was very close to eternal bleeding.” Jenna noted.
Carter put her hand over her mouth in a shocked motion. “Is he okay?!” Carter exclaimed. “Of course dear, don’t worry.” Jenna replied, while Carter breathed a sigh of relief. “How about あなた dear? Have あなた eaten yet today?” Jenna inquired. “No, but I’ll have something later. I need to make sure Harry’s okay first.” Carter explained. “Well I’d say Harry would improve もっと見る if he knew あなた were okay.” Jenna frowned, as Carter bit her lip. “Look Carter, I know you’re worried but Harry’s doing just fine, okay? あなた need to look after yourself hun, あなた don’t know how bad anorexia can get.” Jenna sighed before strolling away.
Shrugging away her thoughts, Carter glided down the corridor and got a cup of お茶, 紅茶 for Harry. Afterwards, she returned to the room.
Harry opened his eyes to see that Carter was no longer beside him. He shot up at the sound of a knock on the door. When he saw that it was Carter, a huge grin spread on his lips. “How are あなた feeling?” she asked quietly. “I’m fine thanks.” He croaked. “That’s good. I brought あなた some tea.” She smiled, handing him the cup. “Thanks babe.” He coughed. “No problem.” She beamed, placing herself on the シート, 座席 beside the hospital bed.
“Taking a large sip of his tea, Harry set the cup down on the bedside table. He once again pulled down the covers and patted the empty 宇宙 beside him, ushering for Carter to 登録する him. “I don’t think I should Harry. あなた need to be comfortable while resting.” Carter hesitated. “Harry winced and clutched his side, yelping in pain. “Harry, what’s wrong?! Lifting her into the ベッド and wrapping the covers around her before she could escape.
“Now, I’m all comfortable.” Harry grinned, wrapping an arm around Carter. “I don’t think I’m actually allowed here.” Carter giggled. “Yeah because the doctors are really going to throw あなた out of hospital for cuddling a patient.” Harry chuckled. Carter flicked Harry’s nose before キス his forehead. Harry squeezed Carter tightly, almost crushing her insides. She wriggled out of his grasp and he pecked her cheek.
“Why did あなた come to see me?” Harry mumbled. Carter sat up and kneeled beside him. “What do あなた mean?” she quizzed. “How can あなた forgive me after all I’ve done to you?” Harry asked. “Because I 愛 you.” Carter’s answer was plain and simple. “And I 愛 あなた too Carter, but I don’t deserve yo-” Harry was interrupted によって lips against his. “You do deserve me Harry.” Carter said. A smile crept onto Harry’s lips.
“How did あなた find out that I was in hospital?” Harry questioned. “I overheard the boys talking about it. Liam didn’t want them telling me. He’s your big brother.” Harry chimed. “If he really cared he’d let me be with you.” Carter muttered. “He only wants what’s best for you.” Harry sighed. “But you’re the best thing for me! Why can’t he just see that?” A tear formed in Carter’s eye.
Harry pulled her towards him and she sobbed into his chest. “Maybe he’s right Carter. Maybe you’d be better off without me…” Harry mused. Carter pulled away from him and frowned. “Harry, you’re the only reason I’m still alive. If it weren’t for you, I would’ve killed myself a long time ago. You’re the reason I smile, the reason that I have one ounce of happiness in my life. Now look me in the eye and tell me I’d be better off without you.” Carter stated. Harry opened his mouth to speak, but found no words to say and soon shut it.
“You had your check-up today, didn’t you? How did it go?” Harry queried. “Good, the nurse just asked me a couple of 質問 and took a few tests. I think she told Liam the results. They’re probably fine. I haven’t been down that much lately and I-” Carter paused as Harry gazed down at her wrists. He took one of them in his hand before looking up at her.
“You promised me you’d stop Carter.”
Carter bit her lip, tearing her eyes away from Harry. “I’m sorry.” She whispered. “Why are あなた cutting again?” Harry asked quietly. “I guess it’s harder to stop than I thought.” Carter shrugged. “I can’t do it alone.” She croaked. “You won’t have to do it alone babe, I promise I’ll be there for you. We’ll work something out, okay?” Harry placed his hand on Carter’s knee, smiling warmly at her.
“Just let Liam know you’re okay at least, yeah?” Harry pleaded. Carter nodded and hopped off the bed. Taking out her phone, she tapped a quick message and sent it to Liam. She sniffed and took a deep breath, putting her hands on her hips. “You should get some rest Harry.” She told him. “Only if あなた stay with me.” Harry stated, jutting out his bottom lip and gazing at the fragile girl before him. She half glanced at him before turning away. She couldn’t help but smile a little.
“There it is!” Harry beamed. “What?” Carter looked around the room, searching for what Harry was on about. “There’s that beautiful smile on my even もっと見る beautiful girlfriend.” He tittered. Carter scrunched up her nose as her cheeks flushed bright pink. “Yes! あなた scrunched up your nose again! あなた only do that when you’re happy!” Harry cheered. “It must be when I’m with あなた then.” Carter responded, winking at her curly haired boyfriend.
“So, are あなた coming in, または what? My lips feel dry and unloved, and I need a lickle キッス to make me better.” Harry pouted. Carter giggled and climbed into the ベッド beside him, attaching her lips to his. Her hands trailed along his abdomen while he wrapped his arms securely around her waist.
Meanwhile, the boys were watching wrestling at home. Niall was strangely uncomfortable, but Zayn and Louis chose to ignore it. Liam had been gone all 日 so the boys predicted that he had gone out in 検索 for Carter. They hadn’t heard from either of them, but they hoped that they had made-up because the tension in the house was getting a bit much.
The door swung open, and in sprinted Liam. “Has she come back yet?” he asked, earning a ‘no’ off each of the boys. Sighing, Liam leaned against the wall. 秒 later, Danielle followed him into the sitting room, smiling at the three boys. “Who’s your friend Liam?” Louis questioned, wriggling his eyebrows in Liam’s direction. “Guys, this is Danielle.” Liam told them. Niall’s jaw dropped as he gazed at the girl before him. “She is hot!” he exclaimed, causing Danielle to blush and giggle slightly. “How the fuck did あなた score a bird like that?!” Louis laughed.
“She’s just a friend Lou. We kind of bumped into each other earlier.” Liam stated, clearly embarrassed. “Get in there Liam!” Zayn winked. “Dude! It’s not like that! She was helping me find Carter.” Liam explained. “Have あなた heard from her at all?” Louis questioned. “She texted me telling me she was fine but that’s it.” Liam said. “Do あなた guys have any idea where she could be?” Danielle chipped in. Zayn and Louis shook their heads. “I-I-I-I think I may have an idea of her where-a-bouts.” Niall chimed. “What do あなた mean Niall?” Liam quizzed.
“Well, I forgot my phone to ring the ambulance, so I used Harry’s. And I may または may not have read the text Carter sent him… she still loves him guys.”
“So? How does that tell us anything?” Zayn questioned, earning a slap off Louis. “She’s at the hospital Zayn!” Danielle spoke. “Well what are we waiting for then?” Liam 発言しました as he sprinted out the door, the others following in tow.

Wait here.” Liam spoke before opening the door. Zayn grabbed his arm and pulled him back. “Do the right thing Liam.” He whispered.
Entering the room, Liam took a deep breath. Harry’s eyes shot up in Liam’s direction. “L-Liam! W-What are yo doing here?!” he exclaimed. Liam didn’t reply, he just edged closer to Harry’s bed. “L-Liam… if you’re going to hurt me… please just take Carter out of the room first… I don’t want her getting hurt!” Harry begged, gazing at Liam with pleading eyes. “Since when do あなた care about Carter getting hurt?” Liam spat. Harry looked down at the floor. “Look Harry, I’m not here to hurt you. I just wanna talk.” Liam sighed, taking a シート, 座席 次 to Harry’s bed.
“Why did あなた do it Harry? How could あなた hurt her like that?” Liam quizzed. “I guess I was just scared.” Harry mumbled. “Scared?! Scared of what?!” Liam queried, furrowing his eyebrows at the curly-haired boy who he once called his friend. “Losing her. I know it was happening. I didn’t want her gone from my life.” Harry muttered. “So あなた bullied and abused her?!” Liam yelled. Harry didn’t respond, he didn’t know what to say. He knew there was no actual excuse for what he did. “Do あなた know how much pain あなた put her through Harry?! She tried to kill herself! She slit her wrists! She cried herself to sleep most nights because of you!” Liam roared.
“I know that now. I honestly didn’t know how much it was affecting her.” Harry said. “It doesn’t matter! あなた still abused her for もっと見る than two years with absolutely no regard for how much あなた were actually hurting her!” Liam shouted. “I know. Trust me Liam; I never intentionally wanted to hurt her.” Harry chimed. “Then why did you?” Liam asked. “I don’t know. I brought her to the field one 日 to talk, but she started screaming at me. Before I knew it, Carter was on the floor and I was standing over her with my fist clenched.” Harry mused, a tear flowing down his cheek.
Liam put his head in his hands before turning his gaze to Carter. “She really loves あなた Harry.” Liam sighed. “And I 愛 her too. She means the world to me.” Harry told him. “You and me both Harry.” Liam half-smiled. “How did her check-up go?” Harry quizzed. “Things have gotten even worse Harry. She’s developed anorexia and her depression has multiplied. I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong.” Liam put his head in his hands and let a few tears fall from his eyes.
“Liam, you’re doing nothing wrong. If it weren’t for あなた Carter wouldn’t be here.” Harry reassured him. Liam just shook his head. “Did the nurse say what was the cause of her anorexia?” Harry quizzed. Liam looked up at him. “You.” He said. “Harry’s eyes widened. “Me?! Liam, I swear, I stopping hurting her a long time ago!” he exclaimed. “I know, she’s been missing あなた so much that it’s drove her to cut and stop eating.” Liam responded. Harry gazed down at the broken girl in his arms, as did Liam.
“That’s why I’ve decided, that the best thing for Carter at the moment is you. She needs あなた Harry.”
“What are あなた saying? Does this mean I’m able to see her again?” Harry’s eyes began to light up. Liam nodded, a smile spreading on his face. “Oh my god! Thanks so much Liam!” Harry beamed. “I’m warning あなた Styles, if あなた hurt her again I promise あなた that I will murder you.” Liam’s face turned serious for a moment. “I won’t hurt her, I promise.” Harry grinned.

“Carter, wake up.” Harry whispered. Carter opened her eyes and gazed up at Harry. “How are あなた feeling babe?” she asked, stretching her arms out. “A lot better.” Harry had a massive cheesy grin plastered on his face. “What are あなた so happy about?” Carter questioned, Narrowing her eyes at Harry. “Oh nothing.” Harry smirked.
Just then the nurse strolled in. “Ms. Payne, I’m going to have to ask あなた to wait outside for a moment. We just need to monitor Harry’s improvement.” She told her. “Okay.” Carter smiled, キス Harry’s lips before leaving the room.
She sat down on the chair in the waiting room, pulling out her phone and staring blankly at the screen. She felt someone’s presence beside her and looked around to see Liam sitting beside her. He smiled warmly at her, but she turned away from him.
“Please Carter; this has gone on long enough. Can’t we just talk?” Liam pleaded. Carter bit her lip in hesitance before turning to Liam. “Okay.” She nodded. “Look, I’m so sorry. What I 発言しました to あなた was completely out of order and I regret every word of it. I didn’t mean those things I said, I promise.” Liam said. “Then why did あなた say them?” Carter croaked. “Because I’m an idiot… I guess I was just angry, not at you, at Harry.” Liam sighed. “Please forgive me Carter, あなた mean the world to me.” Liam begged, tears filling his eyes. A huge grin spread on Liam’s dace as he pulled Carter into his embrace, engulfing her into a tight hug. They pulled away and Carter glanced through the window of Harry’s room, seeing that the nurses had left.
“I guess あなた should return to your patient now.” Liam nudged Carter lightly, nodding his head in Harry’s direction. “Wait, so you’re not taking me home?” Carter questioned. “You’re getting old now, and I can’t stop あなた from seeing your boyfriend.” Liam winked. Carter’s jaw dropped. “You mean, I can see Harry again?!” her eyes began to light up. “Of course, but only if あなた promise to tell me if he ever hurts あなた again.” Liam narrowed his eyes at his sister. “I promise. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” she beamed, hugging Liam and giving him a キッス before leaping off the シート, 座席 and running into Harry.
She ran into his arms and delicately kissed his lips. “I take it you’ve heard the good news then.” Harry chuckled. “I’m so happy Harry. I can’t believe we’ve gotten our happy ending!” she grinned. “I know, we’ve finally got it!” Harry laughed, wrapping his arms around Carter’s waist.
There was a knock on the door and both of them piped up to see Liam standing in the doorway. “We’re just leaving now. あなた coming Carter?” he quizzed. “Nah, I’ll be ホーム later.” She replied. “Alright, just come out for a second. There’s someone I want あなた to meet.” He told her. She stepped outside the room and saw a very pretty girl indeed stood before her. “Carter, this is Danielle. She helped me out a lot today.” Liam explained, gratefully smiling at Danielle. “LIAM!” Niall roared, so Liam left.
“Hi Danielle! I can already tell によって the smirk on Liam’s face that he fancies you…” Carter giggled. “Well, I fancy him too…” Danielle blushed, earning a laugh off Carter. “You’re a very メリダとおそろしの森 girl Carter… If I had gone though half of the things あなた have I don’t think I’d be here today…” she spoke. “I guess I’ve got loads of people to support me, so I’m lucky in a way.” Carter shrugged.
“DANIELLE! HURRY UP または IMMA HIT あなた WITH A CARROT!” Louis yelled.
“I’d go if I were you, Carrots are surprisingly very sore to get hit with… Trust me, I know from experience.” Carter chuckled. “I best be going then. Here’s my number if あなた ever need a girl to talk to babe. It must be quite annoying to be surrounded によって boys 24/7! Call me anytime.” Danielle smiled. “I will, thank あなた so much.” Carter beamed, giving Danielle a quick hug before she left.

“I think あなた should go ホーム babe, Liam’s gonna be worried.” Harry whispered. “No, I’ll just tell him I’m staying here.” She said. “Carter, あなた won’t get any proper sleep, and you’ll be bored when the doctors are with me.” Harry reasoned. “I’m not leaving until I know for sure that you’re okay.” Carter stated texting Liam. A grin spread on Harry’s face as she climbed back into bed. “I’m so glad Liam gave me another chance. I’ve missed being with あなた so much.” Harry chimed, キス Carter’s forehead. “I’ve miss あなた too Harry.” She smiled.
“Carter, I promise あなた that I will never hurt あなた again, okay?”
Looking up at Harry, Carter bit her lip and nodded. Pressing his lips against hers, he smiled through the kiss, knowing that the one thing that made him happy in life had come back again, and he wasn’t planning on letting go anytime soon.
Maybe Harry and Carter were right… Maybe they were finally getting their happy ending.
