In the saga, we only ever saw Anakin during very emotionally trying times, so all my フレンズ who have seen 星, つ星 Wars but aren't necessarily as obsessed as I am infer from his tendency to give in to his emotions that he's not all that bright, just a tall handsome brawler with a lightsaber.
But the Clone Wars proves that he was a BRILLIANT strategist, mostly because of his unpredictability.
