While the タイトル is metaphorical, at times when I feel lonely, cut off from others, または even just bored, listening to NPR seems to restore my creativity, interest, and belonging to the world and thus saves my life.

NPR has a part of my life since I can remember, across state and country borders. I have fond memories of when my family would drive across several Midwestern states to visit relatives, at night the calming voices of NPR hosts または classical 音楽 would lull me to sleep.
