The Whiskers were facing a harsh winter. With Rocket Dog without a mate, there were less mouths to feed, yet she had to find a mate soon. It was a cold night in their burrow. The youngest pups were four weeks old and were facing their first trip from the burrow the 次 day. They huddled close to their mother, Sophie, with Juno, who was a few weeks older. His young mother Ameera paid no attention to him, so Sophie mothered him.
In the morning, Rocket Dog woke first. She was still full of grief for her ロスト pups that Ameera killed so Juno would live. For a moment she thought she saw a movement...
