One Direction returned to James Corden\'s sofa for The Late Late Show last night, and even if you thought your life was quite good already without having witnessed 1D pretending to be small furry animals, everything is about to get SO MUCH BETTER thanks to Louis Tomlinson.

It was pretty much the best interview ever as, alongside the promise of a Carpool Karaoke and one of the boys getting a surprise tattoo live on the show, Tommo and Niall also helped to recreate a bit of James Bond.

And with El Horanzo getting all shaken not stirred, that only left one possible role for Louis. The cat, obvs.

One Direction fans are basically living and dying this morning for the birth of Cat Louis, which is now officially a thing that we\'re kind of attracted to. We can only blame that one on our Inner Crazy Cat Lady colliding with our Inner Crazy Fangirl.

Perched on James Corden\'s knee, Louis proved that he needs the starring role in the new Broadway production of Cats, as he perfected the satisfied facial expression, the cute snuggly pose and even a pair of furry cat paws to make his performance extra realistic.

Apart from when he accidentally said words which weren\'t \'Meow\'. 

The amount that Liam is loving this in the background is only a teeny tiny fraction of how much the rest of the fandom is loving it.

We\'re pretty sure life doesn\'t get much better than seeing Louis Tomlinson pretending to be a cat, and you\'re probably going to watch this about fifty times before you come to terms with what you\'re actually watching. 

Niall\'s James Bond impression also needs a shout out too though, because that eyebrow might be the most seductive thing we\'ve ever seen. MEEE-YOWZA.
