One reason I like Hetalia is the humor in it and sometime the relationships of to countries are not exaggerated or a tad bit wrong I mean, I laughed out loud when my older sister said that when they were discussing WWI in Social Studies their teacher actually said: "At this time, Austria and Hungary were still. . .married." (I'm not joking about the pause, she actually thought about it before saying it).

I like Hetalia because it made me realize how big this world is. In my school we never really concentrated on the other nations. just our own, so it made me really ashamed I didn't even know about other nations like the Nordics, Greece, Romania, and others... >.> I also like the fanbase a lot because you can usually find those great fanfictions that teach you about history and they're usually lovely pieces of art.
