What does Wiedeman mean?

It's my last name, and i was wondering what it meant in German. Someone told me that the first part of the name (Wiede) mean "again" but I've read the name means hunter, farmer, または willowman. But i'm very unsure.
I'm guessing there are allot of German speakers here,so i was hoping for some help.
Also, how common a surname is it over there? It is sometimes spelled Wiedemann.

And on a unrelated note, how do あなた pronounce the Red Baron's last name, Richthofen?

Weird. I don't know why that would be in a name.

Wieder has nothing to do with "wiede". Wiede itself means bast. So, the logical outcome is the bastman.

Ryshtoffen is the closest reproducation of "Richthofen".

That does make sense, i read that the name might have belonged to basket weavers a long time ago.

Well, bast aside, wiede has 2 only meanings Withe and some pointless one I can't translate..
