fan like us, then no doubt you\'ve got sucked into the world of online fan theories, ranging from the genuinely plausible to the downright bonkers.
Now that season six has come to a close, we\'ve gone back through the various theories we\'ve covered while the show was on air to see which ones have been confirmed, totally debunked, or are still possible. Obviously there are potentially massive spoilers below (but only potentially).

Game of Thrones season 7: Everything you need to know
The long-running R+L=J theory was pretty much confirmed during the finale \'The Winds of Winter\'. A young Ned found his dying sister Lyanna at the Tower of Joy after giving birth to baby Jon. She asked him to take the baby back as his own in order to save him from King Robert\'s jealous rage.
So the L=J part of the theory is definitely true, and while the R (Rhaegar Targaryen) is probably correct too, this hasn\'t actually been confirmed out loud in the show. But let\'s be honest, it must be the case.
The topic of secret relations continues with the theory that suggests Tyrion is actually the son of the Mad King. (The rumour among characters in the books is that Aerys II had an affair with Tywin\'s wife Joanna, who then died giving birth to Tyrion. All of which would further explain why Tywin hated his son so much.)
This has yet to be revealed in the show, but after his close connection with her dragons, we wouldn\'t be surprised if this one came up in the coming season.
Game of Thrones: 12 theories ranging from the very plausible to the downright bonkers
3. Jon Snow warged into his direwolf Ghost when he died: PROBABLY NOT TRUE
We\'re pretty sure that if Jon really did warg into his direwolf shortly before popping his clogs, this would have been brought up by now.
So while still technically possible, we doubt that Jon will suddenly reveal what really happened after Melisandre seemingly brought him back to life.
The theories that The Hound was secretly taken in by a monk-type figure turned out to be correct after all. And now our favourite grumpy Clegane is back where he belongs: eating every chicken in the room.
5. Hodor swapped minds with a horse: DEBUNKED
miles away. Fans wondered whether the reason behind Hodor\'s inability to say anything but his own name was due to the fact that he once warged into a horse and became stuck.
In reality it was Bran\'s fault. In the present day, he warged into the mind of a young Hodor so that he could control the present-day version, and so young Wylis suffered the consequences. (SOBS.)
6. Bran can time travel and is the Three Eyed Raven from the future: STILL POSSIBLE
So far we\'ve watched Bran see visions from the past, but we\'re not entirely sure whether he can actually change or affect the past – though he appeared to catch Ned\'s attention at the Tower Of Joy. So this could still very much be a possibility.
Whether or not he will become the same Three Eyed Raven played by Max von Sydow remains to be seen. Probably not if you ask us, but you never know.
Did Melisandre have the wrong Snow while searching for the resurrected warrior? Thankfully, that doesn\'t look to be the case, as Ramsay has finally bitten the dust.
Though, wouldn\'t it be awkward if they found out this was the case later on?
Game of Thrones: 11 more fan theories that could actually happen
As we\'ve explained in depth, we previously scoffed at this theory which stated that Jon Snow and Meera Reed could actually be twins, but now we feel a bit silly.
As Howland Reed – Meera\'s father – was the only other person with Ned Stark at the Tower of Joy when Lyanna died, it\'s totally plausible that there was a second baby. Plus, look at their hair!
Could Daenerys\'s vision of "a blue flower growing from a chink in a wall of ice, filling the air with sweetness" refer to loveable Samwell rather than Jon? It would explain Aemon Targaryen\'s taking a shine to him.
Ah, we loved this silly theory that Qyburn actually sewed dead Joffrey\'s head onto the dead Mountain\'s body. That Qyburn, he\'s so crazy.
But nope, we got a good look at Gregor Clegane\'s bonce (albeit rather dark) in the finale, and it\'s definitely not little Joffers.
We reckon this would have come up in the finale rather than being held over to season 7. But it\'s still possible that Sansa has no idea that she\'s pregnant. We doubt Westeros has brilliant pregnancy tests.
Ramsay told her that he is "inside" her now, but we\'re pretty sure he meant figuratively rather than impregnating her (how would he know?). We wouldn\'t put anything past
12 & 13. Bran built The Wall/Bran is the Lord of Light: STILL POSSIBLE
We\'ll put these together as they have the same theme. Two Bran-centric theories that his time-travelling capabilities helped shape the world of Westeros we all know today.
Could Bran be the same Bran The Bulder who was constructed the massive Wall in the North? Could Bran\'s whispering also lead to him being the actual Lord of Light that all the Red faith have been following all this time? All will be revealed (or totally disproven) soonish.
14. Sansa will betray Jon Snow: STILL POSSIBLE
There were plenty of foreshadowing moments in the finale that our theory of Jon Snow being stabbed in the back (figuratively or literally) by Sansa will come true eventually.
She already mucked him about by not telling him about the Knights of the Vale, and Littlefinger clearly has her nearing towards his way of thinking rather than Jon\'s. This doesn\'t bode well.
15. Jon Snow will kill Daenerys: STILL POSSIBLE
A huge theory reckons that eventually we\'ll see Jon kill Dany, either because she\'s turned into a tyrannical dictator like her dad or because he has to in order to fulfil his Azor Ahai prophecy.
Either way, we can\'t see this becoming something that\'ll be confirmed or debunked until the very end game of the series. So we shall see.
16 & 17. The Faceless Men will team up with the White Walkers/The Faceless Men\'s real god is money: STILL POSSIBLE
Now that Arya has seemingly left Jaqen and the Faceless Men behind, we\'re not sure if we\'ll see much more of them from now on.
But let\'s say we will. Then these two complicated theories about the religious and murderous folk could still be proven true. But something also tells us that the series won\'t be spending that much time with them now that there\'s only a handful of episodes left. One for the books, perhaps.
19. Lady Stoneheart will arrive soon: STILL POSSIBLE (but probably not)
Every book lover is longing for the undead Catelyn Stark to make an appearance in the TV show, but the longer it goes on without her, the less likely it\'ll ever happen. Maybe it\'s time to let go?
