last night, charming the host and guests with tales of kicked gingers, Comic Con shenanigans, and creeping on celebrities.

season 6, there was some other info floating around: rumored episode titles.

We’ve checked with HBO, and they are unable to confirm these new episode titles being

and their sources. However, the website reported six of last year’s episode titles with accuracy so we feel comfortable with sharing them for now.

HBO has already announced that the premiere will be called “The Red Woman.”

, the second episode of season 6 is titled, “Home,” and episode 3 will be titled, “Oathbreaker.”

If the titles are accurate, “Oathbreaker” is certainly the most intriguing one. Brienne has taken oaths, and the name of her sword Oathkeeper is the flip side of this title. Brienne’s oaths are strongly tested in the novels. Other characters like Jaime and Jon Snow are known to be oathbreakers as well, so I could see an episode titled that going many ways.

“Home” is a simple title, but with so many characters longing for theirs, it’s always a powerful theme.

Intrigued about ‘Home’ and ‘Oathbreaker’ very similar to s508 – Hardhome and s404 Oathkeeper – dunno doesn’t sit right with me – would rather something different but i havent seen the episodes and nothing could dull the enthusiasm i have for GoT s6 right now

Home for me means Dany arriving at Vaes Dothrak, Sansa planning on re-taking Winterfell, Theon/Euron reaching the Iron islands.

They’re certainly interesting titles if they’re right. “Home” is simple, but would fit well with a lot of the storylines we know are happening. On the other hand, I love “Oathbreaker” as a title and I really hope that it is accurate. It juxtaposes nicely with “Oathekeeper”, and again it seems like a realistic episode title. I wish I had predicted it actually (whereas “Home” would’ve been impossible to guess).

They were right last year, so I’m prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. Let’s hope we get some official confirmation soon!

Home – Sam Tarly passing through hornhill

Love the titles, both of them could mean so many different things. Oathbreaker could also have the vision of Jaime killing the mad king, as some people suspect from the trailers.

Maybe we won’t get a single title right this year, haha.

I also think Samwell Tarly might be in Horn Hill for Ep2 because he has a long trip this season

I love both Sophie and Sansa! Can’t decide who I love more! Come on girl, get your Queen on and kick some ass this season!

I think Home will refer to the return of Euron to the iron isles for the kingsmoot.

Home could also be reference to Bran visiting WF through vision?

I enjoyed Sophie’s interview and I thought you would as well. I think that you’re very excited about the new trailer, good things are to happen to your favourite character. She looked great with the Stark sigil embroided on her chest. And about how lovely and elegant Sophie looked at the opening night, I am a girl and I was charmed! I can’t imagine how gorgeous she might appear to a man’s eyes 😉

Remember a certain big guy with a chick, a baby and a dead guy (don`t remember did the last one ended up in the ship on the show) going south for the Oldtown (and from there to Horn hill). And we know for a fact that some members of Tarly family were cast, like Randyll, samwells father.. another Damascus stee… sorry, Valyrian sword is coming to the show on episode 2 “Home”!!

Huh, isn’t that a little weird that episode 2 is the one that’s called “Home”, but then that released clip of Dany reaching Vaes Dothrak and one of the dudes literally saying “Welcome home Khaleesi” is supposedly from episode 3?

Is it possible that one of these two pieces of information got a bit distorted on its way through the grapevine?

(I’m just so used to them having their episode titles refer to as many different storylines as possible, I guess.)

Home – Sansa wants her home back, Dany goes to VD (may arrive there in episode 2 or 3), some characters are headed for the Iron Islands, Horn Hill, Jon has no home (thanks NW mutiny), Cersei’s ‘home’ is threatened by the sparrows, Bran mourns the destruction of his home and family, the Wildlings have no home, Arya has to adapt to life in her new home (House of B&W)

Oathbreaker – Jon questions his oath (yes pls), Jaime does something shady, Brienne has another oath to fulfil (find Arya, leave Sansa with whomever), Bloodraven breaking his oath to the NW (maybe we’ll get some info on his disappearance idk)

I think ‘Home’ will cover more than one arc. As stated above it probably will be Sam and the Tarlys, Dany in Vaes Dothrak, Euron.

The thing that strikes me is that I associate the word home with a safe and comfortable place. I don’t quite see it feeling like that on the show.

I am looking forward seeing new faces/characters this season.

Oh man, I really hope that “Home” will have Arya’s first warging into Nymeria.

And I’m so fucking excited for Sansa’s storyline, the boss ass bitch better not be disappointing. I’m hyped.

I have a feeling the title “Home” will have to do with Dany, because in one of the 3 clips they released, the one Dothraki said “Welcome home, Khaleesi”. Could be referring to that, and something else as well. I doubt Sansa will return to Winterfell that early ahah, and it probably wont be with Ramsay still there.

I have been trying so hard to avoid anything further with “spoilers” but the clips and another trailer were just too hard to resist…still not liking the Jon Snow dead feeling I have, but we will see. Sansa looks awesome!!

Anywho, if these titles are correct, they could refer to a plethora of different things.

Home: Sansa wanting to take back Winterfell.

Jon Snow, still a corpse, wonders if a freezer is the best place for him. Friends and Co wonder as well.

Tyrion getting comfortable with the similarities of Kings Landing and Meereen.

Dany’s captors begin travelling to Vaes Dothrak, to the Dosh Khaleen, the supposed “home” for Dany as a retired Khaleesi.

Arya realizes that she isn’t “No One.” She’s a Stark, by-golly!

Davos and Melisandre find “hero-to-their-sidekick” potential in Jon Snow.

I feel like this one will resonate strongly within a few select characters, namely Brienne, Jon, and Jaime.

Brienne might do something regarding Sansa, fulfilling or not quite meeting oaths taken for Catelyn and Jaime.

Jon Snow will be released from his vows, broken or not.

Jaime will likely be moved to action in regard to the Sparrows and the effects on his family, both blood-wise and extended.

Arya is dangerously close to the “no 3rd chances” thing.

I know, it was hard to avoid the trailer yesterday. I am glad I didn’t. That was amazing. But it adds to my Jon Snow returning doubts… more so that it wont happen this year, or will happen at the end (if it will)

As for the clips, I have managed to avoid watching these. Only 12 days to go, not long now.

I can’t speak for anyone else. For me it is a way to speculate what could be expected from the episode; whose arc could be dominant in the episode. You know, something to talk about.

I haven’t watched Conan much the past several years – probably hardly any since Late Night and now I remember why. I watched all the way through Sophie’s interview and I just got upset. The show starts at 10 pm my time. Everyone knows the first guest is the primary and gets the most time, but last night was a ridiculous split of time considering the guests. Conan had friggin’ Kevin Nealon as the first guest! The barely been anybody ever, bit character in just about every Adam Sandler bomb, Kevin Nealon was on for twenty minutes!! Conan brought Sophie out for 8 MINUTES and burned half of it talking about hair color!! One of the major characters on one of the biggest shows and in an X-Men movie this year and she gets a few minute interview after playing second fiddle to Kevin Nealon. Sure, DiCaprio or, or Julia Louis-Dreyfus sort of people, but Kevin Nealon!? I can’t imagine too many viewers are excited for discussions with Nealon.

I’m guessing Home is in relation to not just Sansa and Dany, but also Jaime and Myrcella making it home. I doubt we’ll get much Lannister action in episode 1 if Castle Black/Arya/Dany are the focus.

The more I look at the scene the more I’m convinced Bran will see a vision of young Jaime slaying the Mad King. Which would make sense to throw into an episode titled “Oathbreaker”. I also thought it could be someone, perhaps Jaime or Lancel even, killing zombie Mountain in the throne room. Seems to be a very large shadow being cast. Damnit, is it the 24th yet??? This wait is killing me! 😀

If that. He brought Kevin out around 10:21 (air time) and had him in the main chair until 10:42. It went to commercials and brought her out after until about 10:51. I kept looking at the clock because I couldn’t believe how long he kept Kevin up there.

They showed the clip that was released yesterday of Theon and Sansa escaping Winterfell in the woods.

Home and Oathbreaker are correct. They seem like titles D&D would give to these episodes.

Oathbreaker would show Bran seeing the dead of the Mad King, and also Jon leaving the Night’s Watch

I don’t think it would be cool. I like original fun titles. If people would have guessed titles right it would be episode titles like “The Mountain and the Viper”, the “Lion and the Rose”, “the Gift”. They’re not really fun titles.

Yep! We’ll see if he breaks it up in similar fashion this evening with John Bradley. His main is Aaron Paul. Sure, it is Jesse Pinkman, “bitch,” but Breaking Bad has been done for three years. I’m more interested in Pinkman than Nealon at least.

No way those are the titles…just seems boring. Here’s my list of character arcs I’m looking forward to the most in order: 1. Jon

On topic: The kid’s charming (refering to Sophie, that is). I find it endearing that she acts the ‘grown up’, but then talks about being afraid that Gosling is going to see the pic of her swooning over him. It’s a very normalizing moment. Makes her relatable. Side note, as a Sansa/Tyrion “shipper” I’m gitty that she refers to herself as his loyal wife. 😉

As far as the episode titles, I’m suprised more people didn’t immediately think of Jaime. I know I did. Especially as we enter a season that gives every indication that he will break his oaths to the Kingsguard (as we see him in Lannister armor), and possibly give up all his ‘honor’ for the sake of advancing the Lannister cause. His march towards “fuck all” could also be the reason Brienne looks disappointed in that quick shot of her and Podrick in Riverun. As a side, I think it’s going to take Brienne to remind Jaime of who he truly is, and break off his obsession with Cersei once and for all. Brienne has always been a character that makes Jaime a better person and I think that effect will be highlighted this season.
