I dont think so, i think human souls are required to make a Philosopher Stone so i think using plants would be like using vegetable oil instead of regular oil for your car

the thing is though, that if あなた modify your car it can run on vegetable oil (albeit not as well) so it might be possible that the same could be true of a philosophers stone made from plant life. it would most likely require insane amounts of plants though and would probably run out faster.
