An Elsa-Inspired Wedding Gown is Coming This January
If there’s one dress we want to own from Frozen, it’s Elsa’s blue ice dress. The gown has become a fashion phenomenon, and quickly earned a place as one of Disney characters’ most iconic dresses. The cape…the sparkles…we would wear that dress every day if we could.
Well, our soul is now spiraling in frozen fractals all around after seeing this news. Disney Consumer Products, and wedding and bridesmaid gown designer, Alfred Angelo offered a very special sneak peek of the new Elsa-inspired bridal gown from the 2015 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo bridal collection. Take a look at the beautiful sketch below!
This high-fashion, conceptual sketch is an interpretation of Elsa’s signature dress from Frozen. The dress is an ice-blue, softly flared sheath gown with a sweetheart neckline made with layers of satin, tulle, organza and glitter net. Beading in swirling patterns cover the gown, so it shines just as bright as Elsa’s icy dress. As a nod to her snowflake embellished cape, the Watteau train of the wedding dress drapes from the shoulders to the floor for a regal finish.
The dress will be available in January 2015 at Alfred Angelo stores in the U.S. and specialty retailers worldwide.
