The third season of 'Friday Night Lights' debuts (not on NBC - yet) 

Maureen Ryan of The Watcher for The Chicago Tribune assures us that even if we don't have Direct TV, where Friday Night Lights debuts this fall, we'll be able to catch it in January 2009 on NBC.
