Is it really wrong to have picks asking people to read your 記事 または to answer your question?

Ever since I joined ファンポップ a few months 前 I have heard about rules of some sort and I was wondering how people know what is taboo and what isn't. Which goes along with my 質問 because I have read 記事 supporting these kinds of picks, but I recently have a read an 記事 that states it is against "the rules". I would really like to get clarification on this matter and if possible the actual 一覧 of taboo things. Thanks in advance for help and sorry this is so long.
