first of all エヴァネッセンス are not copying nightwish,within temptation and lacuna coil cause エヴァネッセンス are better than them the only good just good band bettwen those is within temptation ,they're them selfs all those bands still the same in a bad way not in a good way,I find エヴァネッセンス have もっと見る interesting cause each album is different than the other,and あなた can't expect what they will do next

Well maybe they look like that if you're not inside of their 音楽 and everything. Everyone has their own story and memory to every song of a band. People who don't feel the same way can't understand that.
But as long as they don't talk shit about them I don't care if they hate them. I like to be ファン of bands which no one L（デスノート） know listens to.

Personally, some bands that are frequently being compared to Evanescence I actually prefer, like Within Temptation and Nightwish, because they are a tad もっと見る interesting to me in both their vocals and use of instruments and have もっと見る variety from album to album, while some other bands that Ev are compared to, like Lacuna Coil and Xandria, I think are a bit "bland" (but not even remotely dull, don't get me wrong!) compared to stuff Ev have done. I personally like all the bands あなた listed as examples.

But to clarify, エヴァネッセンス is NOT copying anyone. They began in 1994 and for the longest time Amy had no idea that the many Europeans bands エヴァネッセンス was being compared to actually existed. As for songwriting, I think Evanescence's lyrics are better than some bands up there and not as good as others (Nightwish has the best, IMO). Evanescence's lyrics can be dark and almost ゴシック sounding (which is why they are sometimes inaccurately labeled as "gothic rock"), which some people sadly mistake for "emo". (Don't get me started on a rant about how エモ and goth are nothing alike!) As for エヴァネッセンス being only for teenagers, many Ev ファン ARE teenagers, so people immediately jump to the conclusion that the teen age is the only age that it is appropriate to like them. Another reason why people think that is because people generally stereotype darker-ish lyrics as "angsty", which is, again, a stereotype for teenagers. I don't believe it for a 秒 because every single member of my family, even family members like uncles and older cousins, all like Evanescence. It really just is a stereotype.

However, I actually kind of understand the hate エヴァネッセンス gets sometimes. I'm sorry if this will offend anyone, but I don't put Amy's vocals on such a high pedestal as I used to. To me, her voice strains a lot, and although I think Amy really CAN sing, the strains can get irritating and it's obviously not good for her voice, which is one of the reasons why I honestly don't think she's as good as some of the European frontwomen she's constantly being compared to (sorry!). She's gotten much better, though, IMO. In addition to that the band, aside from Amy, hasn't shown much above-average musicianship. Taking both examples into account, can あなた blame some people when Evanescence, an extremely 人気 rock band world-wide, begins to overshadow other bands that really do have better trained musicians and vocalists? I mean, it's completely out of line and as an エヴァネッセンス ファン it offends me (I know it may not seem like it right now, but エヴァネッセンス is in my 上, ページのトップへ 10 お気に入り bands of all time), but I understand the reasoning behind the hate.

I have no idea to act serious towards haters, so I'm just like... 'Hi! Heard あなた disliked Lovely Amy Lee! Does it Look Like I Give?' Yeah, I suck at trying to get mad.. but it does bother me, because I don't see how Amy and Sharon, Lacuana, Hayley, even Flyleaf, are that similar. It's only because they're all 'goth' and girls in a mostly boy band.

Some people just genuinely don't like certain bands and I'm okay with that. I can see how people would think their lyrics sound "emo" または "whiny" if they haven't experienced the things that they're talking about. They really are very depressing subjects like death, self-harm, suicide, abuse, etc. Those are all staples of the エモ 音楽 so it's nt unfair to say they are "emo lyrics", and it's not an insult to call something エモ so that doesn't even count as hate in my book. And I do see similarities between エヴァネッセンス and Lacuna Coil または Within Temptation (not really Nightwish) but not enough to say that エヴァネッセンス is a direct copy of any of them. Plus, Amy isn't very good live so I get people who say she isn't a good singer. I prefer her studio voice personally, but everyone has their own opinions and I'm fine with that.

It's a matter of opinion and あなた are entitled to yours. But a lot of people like エヴァネッセンス (me included). For any to say any band with a female lead vocalist formed before または after the 90's/00's as a infirior copy to evanecence または vise versa needs to reeducated themselves. 1. エヴァネッセンス was formed around the mid 90's (94/95 possibly?) as most bands: nightwish (1996), within temptation (1996) , Lacuna Coil (1994) to name a few. For some odd reason these bands espically lacuna coil keep getting that EV copy label dispte the fact LC is ゴシック Metal / Rock while EV is a Rock band (some call them metal but I think they are もっと見る rock than metal). Also LC has 2 vocalist while EV is just Amy. And since when is または was Amy an operatic vocalist? I know she did some choir in high school but operatic? Really?

I absolutely 愛 エヴァネッセンス and there style of 音楽 but the real difference is between those other bands is they managed to become もっと見る commercialized and there's many pop listeners that listen to them. Amy lee sing very well and has performed with the like of Korn another band i love. But to compare them like a competition または challenge to those other bands is silly. They are special in there own way that's those other bands as I've 愛 listening to there 音楽 as well. I have noticed they are all different from each other. But any true musician または 音楽 teacher could tell あなた that, so why compare? My personal お気に入り band is Nightwish with Floor Jansen As there 音楽 is 詩 and they take あなた on a Journey there songs seem different then anything I've heard even other Symphonic metal bands are great but not the same. And Floor can do any type of 音楽 she sets her mind on look ant Beste Zangers you'll see she can sing Opera, Pop Rock just about anything and in many Languages. Including ディズニー songs like let it go from Frozen. Just because a band appears to be one's お気に入り doesn't mean we should dish against other bands. All these bands are great there is no real comparisons as what is my お気に入り may not be yours it's freedom of choice. Just Enjoy all these different flavors 音楽 has to offer and thank god it's not Pop lol just kidding.

Actually, the people that say エヴァネッセンス is not good surely haven't even listened to their songs and they judge from one song they have probably ever heard. It is vital that we mention that 音楽 is something subjective. However, lyrics and meaning in lyrics are actually objective, since from them あなた can realise whether a band または a song is better than others または not. Therefore, it is certain that people that say brutal things about エヴァネッセンス haven't even paid enough attention to understand their songs. Because if they had, they would have actually noticed songs with deep meanings: songs about social problems and media dominance, songs about fantasy,dream/ reality, about the importance of finding yourself, songs about death, suicide and God, and most importantly songs about mental illnesses and depression. Songs with which millions of people can relate to, because they are important to them. エヴァネッセンス is my favourite rock band. I have listened to other songs from various rock bands and they are all fascinating- as always. Nevertheless, エヴァネッセンス is always going to be my favourite of all and that's because of their messages, meanings and the lyrics. The songs are so lyrical and poetic, so beautiful. Lyrics that make tortured people identify with. They help them express and pull out their pain, sorrow, depression.
Although I am an エヴァネッセンス fan, I don't know even the half of their songs myself. I know only a few, but from those few that I know, I can surely figure out that this is a band that has many things to say, and even もっと見る people to help. These songs have helped me a lot during tough periods and I can always relate to them. Aside all those, Amy Lee's voice is just stunning! In the recordings of the studio versions she is simply astonishing and the only excuse to say that she is not a good singer is being deaf. Something that is even もっと見る underrated than the band itself is the music. The ギター riffs are spectacular! And if あなた don't believe me, 検索 it and あなた will indeed find out what あなた have been missing all along!
エヴァネッセンス is referred to as ゴシック rock with metal influences. But, apart from all the labels, エヴァネッセンス is a band that has helped and still helps many people with tormented souls. Depression is a recurring theme of the band and depression -as a mental illness is highly linked with finding yourself. People with depression can actually perceive many もっと見る things than we can. Things with meanings. And even the people who haven't experienced similar pain can understand that the songs have deep meanings from the lyrics. I would never have expected that I would be here now, 書く such a long argument about why エヴァネッセンス is so fascinating, since I always took it for granted. I dare haters of the band to read the lyrics and try to understand the meaning first and not to jump to conclusions just from one/ two songs they have heard just to indulge their prejudged notion about the band!
