Today, 16 August marks the 34th year of Elvis Death. As we remember THE KING on the anniversary of his death on 16 August, it is also noteworthy that this year marks the 55th anniversary of Elvis’ year of firsts. 1956 saw Elvis breaking new ground with his unique style and was known as his ‘whirlwind’ year.
