This basically is the best and least exhaustive way to mount such a countdown. I'd take this option, if I were you. lol.

This would be the best way rounding them up. It would also make the writing easier if / when it came to writing an article at the end.

I agree with wavesurf that it's better and less exhaustive to group them by DP movies but if you really had the time and wanted to do it, the extensive list would definitely be fun and allows for more accurate results, in my opinion, of the actual favorite DP sidekick. I'd go whole hog, but that's just me.

Or perhaps I suggest categories of type instead of movie. Like Pet, non-Pet animal, inanimate object, magical being. Just a thought of another way to do the groups.

The popuplar choice has come out to be The Exhaustive List, athough mostly who have commented have picked the group option. So i think i'll group some possible few together - like the dwarfs, the good fairies, animal friends of Cinderella. And do an article on top 10 favorites. Will put up the poll by evening.
