Hello, I'm PrueFever, a 32 years old guy from Denmark and a Major ディズニー Fan! My all-time お気に入り ディズニー Movie is The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney's 28th full-lenght animated classic from 1989. I just 愛 all the characters in the movie, the songs, the score and the animation. I grew up with Mermaid, it was the first ディズニー Movie I saw, so there's definitely nostalgic reasons as well, I'm not gonna deny that! I can always watch the movie and my mood goes up 100%! It never fails to amaze me. Also, the voice actors in this movie is spetacular! Jodi Benson is great as Ariel and even greater as...

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As あなた may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the 作者 of The Phantom of the Opera is によって Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than あなた Dream It scene...

Once upon a time in a faraway land, there was a tiny kingdom. Peaceful, prosperous, and rich in romance in tradition. There was a small farm that lived a humble farmer, and his daughter, Victoria. The Farmer was a kind and hardworking man that preferred the simple life as a farmer. However, his daughter was far from content with life as a farmer's daughter and desired for もっと見る in life. Before her mother died, she had her daughter promise her that she would be もっと見る than just a simple peasant girl. That she would have a better life for herself one day, along with her future children. Unfortunately,...

Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward 説明 of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral, perceptive, analytical
6: trustworthy, loyal, メリダとおそろしの森
7: fun-loving, enthusiastic, lively
8: assertive, strong, self-confident
9:...

Okay so some of あなた might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this 記事 but I still didn't want the tension または drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" 一覧 without offending anyone, I didn't write that 記事 and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an 全体, 全体的です attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do 愛 the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most...

 12 Season Color Wheel
12 Season Color Wheel
So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus または attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her ピンク dress. I have also read many コメント debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. ピンク Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came...

Positive Messages
As some of あなた might be able to tell, I have been in a very musical mood lately. Along those themes, I wanted to make 2 音楽 countdowns: 1 for Songs and 1 for Scores. I 愛 Disney's music, especially from the team of Alan Menken & Howard Ashman. I almost never like covers of DP songs によって ディズニー Pop stars so unless otherwise mentioned, all versions here are the original ones from the film. Here are my rankings for お気に入り songs:

Honorary Mentions:
With A Smile & A Song - Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs (So positive and uplifting plus an excellent message.) "There's no use in grumbling...

Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the ディズニー アラジン film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, ジャスミン does not represent Arab または Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, Jasmine...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this 記事 ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in 人気 culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy 書く these, and since I re-watched メリダとおそろしの森 a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one あなた can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

This love, it is a distant star...

This was reposted due to an unwanted and frankly annoying troll spamming my last article

Over the years, I've noticed that people really HATE Aurora in Keys To The Kingdom from ディズニー Princess 魔法にかけられて Tales: Follow Your Dreams. I've honestly never understood the hate she received, mainly because no one ever freaking EXPLAINS it! I've always asked and they just say "SHE SUCKS," または "SHE'S A GIRLY STEREOTYPE," または "SHE HAS A POP VOICE," and all that but they don't EXPLAIN! The reason this version of Aurora is so hated is even less explained than the plot holes in Frozen. First of all, Enchanted...

Please note that this is a countdown where we users make a lot of assumptions and don't provide proof of anything. This is for the amusement so please don't kill the fun :)

11. Prince
The Prince from Snow White comes in last place, can't say I'm stunned. At that time, ディズニー animators haven't mastered drawing male characters yet so I'm guessing what's underneath isn't HD quality either. He's also quite feminine looking, petite frame with soft edges. No worries though, Snow White loves his man for his huuuuuuuge ハート, 心 :)

10. Charming
Nope, still not quite there with drawing men. Charming...
