Chapter 1


Dawnpaw leaped in the air, turned and landed squarely on her friend’s shoulder.

“You’ll never beat me!” Honorpaw teased.
“But I can when you’re my opponent” Dawnpaw flashed back.

Together they started to rustle each other on the sandy ground of the training hollow, cuffing each other with sheathed claws. Finally Dawnpaw leaped in the air and pinned down her opponent on the shoulders.

Chapter One
Spiritpaw came in quietly following Spotpaw. Fruitfur chose to sit 次 to his leader; Spotpaw chose a spot 次 to Dawnpaw, leaving Spiritpaw to sit at the back of the den, hearing the angry hissing of the senior warriors below. Spiritpaw tucked her tail away from the entrance, there is just no way they are going to claw the 毛皮 of my tail!
Dawnpaw started to meow at Flamestar, while the others listened, Spiritpaw's mind started to drift away from the conversation. Spiritpaw squeezed her eyes hard and shook her head, this is why she forgot how to use burdock root and juniper berries!...

A Wish

I wake up, and the alarm is going off at seven. I sigh and remind myself it’s a Friday. I look around my room. Purple walls, white cabinets, my jewelery table. I reach for under my 枕 and pull out a picture of my crush, Finn.

Finn is a cute, blonde boy in my class. He has オリーブ colored skin and piercing blue eyes. A sigh escapes me, if only he liked me back.

I stuff his picture back under my 枕 and hop out of bed. I change into my clothes, a pair of dark blue jeans, a plain purple シャツ and a black vest over that. I brush my blonde hair straight and brush...
