 The Book, I loved it.
The Book, I loved it.
Starcrossed.

Helen Hamilton has always tried to hide how different she is—no easy feat on an island as small as Nantucket, and only getting harder as she finds herself haunted によって hallucinations and vivid nightmares.

It's not until she crosses paths with Lucas Delos at school that Helen's true heritage is finally revealed. Yet even as Lucas helps her awaken to her startling powers, they can never be together—not unless they can break free from the tragic destiny the Three Fates have in store.

What I Think ---Its A bit like Twilight and a bit like Percy Jackson series ,but no Vampires.Contains something for everyone. Action, mystery, romance and an intriguing and gripping plot are all combined to make this one of the hits of the year.

A Different Review
"To be honest, words cannot describe this debut novel によって Josephine Angelini—it's addictive, filled with wonderful characters, weaved and twisted with Percy-Jackson-like myths, and in the end...it became one hell of a page turner! I've never been so addicted to a book since Vampire Academy and while that still remains my favourite YA series, this beautiful start to a trilogy is closely following behind!"

I ran away from ホーム three months after my mom pasted. My dad changed after his wife died.He got もっと見る violent and wasn't as friendly.I grew tired of his crap.So my simple solution was to run away.Be free.

Of course the money wouldn't last forever so i got a job at the closest SPCA.A job that i wouldn't have to go to college to have.Walking the dogs.I figured that would pay enough,at least for now.
Then my adventure started. An adventure so big to last ones life. The one who changed my view of life.
Jett.
I know not everyone celebrates Christmas, but in many countries, there is a big break coming up, and I thought I would share some good vacation-type reads. So put these on hold at the としょうかん, ライブラリ now to prepare for a long period of time for relaxation and good reading.

1. His Dark Materials によって Philip Pullman
(The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass)-I read this series once over a break and it is fantastic. Deep and meaningful while still a quick read. The 2nd one is my favorite.

2. Anna Karenina によって Leo Tolstoy
This is probably a challenge for a lot of people, but it's one of the most...

Daniel J. Levitin, 2006, 320 pages

Why human beings make and enjoy 音楽 is, in Levitin’s telling, a delicious story. In this unprecedented meeting of art and science, rocker-turned-neuroscientist Daniel J. Levitin explores the connection between 音楽 – its performances, its composition, how we listen to it, why we enjoy it – and the human brain.

Taking on prominent thinkers who argue that 音楽 is nothing もっと見る than an evolutionary accident, Levitin argues that 音楽 is fundamental to our species, perhaps even もっと見る so than language. ‘This Is Your Brain On Music’ is an ear-opening,...
