So I turn 18 in a month. My name is Jacob, and quite frankly, im disgusted with my first name.... Seriously, i dare anyone reading this(in america) to go to the most crowded place you can think of and yell "HEY JACOB!!!!", and at least 15 different people will rubber neck, looking for the person who said their name. Jacob is literally the number one used name in america and it makes me feel like some carbon copy.

Now i dont want to change my name to Byakuya because i want to impersonate Byakuya or something. I just find the name extremely fascinating, and the fact that im currently labeled with the most generic name in my country makes me feel like going all out with this name change(im going to change my name to something for sure).

However, if it werent for bleach i would have never heard the name Byakuya. So how does the otaku community feel about my idea? Is it too ridiculous? Should i do it?
