くま, クマ Baiting is cruel entertainment and a money-maker for some people in Pakistan. くま, クマ baiting requires bears to have their claws and teeth removed, then they are chained to a post being forced to fight off several dogs. When the fighting is over, bears usually come out with ripped mouths and noses.

The text below is an approximate translation of an article's excerpt that I read at National Geographic magazine.

The direction to the market typically begins the moment when some poor hunters and farmers capture wild 動物 for local poachers who promote them higher. In Asia wild 動物 end up at reception tables and pharmacies and in western countries at living rooms as decorative objects. The income of of this exploitaton is proportional to to the one of an auction of art works, the rarer the object the higher the cost.

Even though noone knows exactly the actual enormity of wild life poaching,one...

Many people give money to charities believing their money will be used to help people in need. They don't always realize that their money may instead be used to fund testing on animals. While some people believe animal testing is necessary, there are now many humane ways to learn about disease and to test medical treatments, methods that are actually もっと見る effective than testing on 動物 and that do not cause pain and death to innocent creatures.
Here are just a few of the charities that currently fund testing on animals. If あなた object to testing on animals, let these charities know あなた cannot...

There is no doubt that the best test species for humans are humans. It is not possible to extrapolate animal data directly to humans due to interspecies variation in anatomy, physiology and biochemistry.

Advancing in science is important. It is what helps us understand the world in which we live, and is especially important for medical research. However, some believe the myth that, in order to effectively continue our research, we must experiment on animals. This is not the case at all and, in fact, can give us inconclusive results. Here are just a few of the alternatives that are not only cruelty-free,...

I found a fox, caught によって the leg
In a toothed gin, torn from its peg,
And dragged, God knows how far, in pain.

Such torment could not plead in vain,
He looked at me, I looked at him.
With iron jaw-teeth in his limb.

"Come, little son," I said, "Let be.....
Don't bite me, while I set あなた free."
But much I feared that in the pang
Of helping, I should feel a fang
In hand または face .......
but must is must .........
And he had 与えられた me his trust.

So down I knelt there in the mud
And loosed those jaws all mud and blood.
And he, exhausted, crept, set free,
Into the shade, away from me;

The leg not broken ......
Then, beyond,
That ジン went plonk into the pond.

A lot of people want to stop 子犬 mills, but they don't know how. But if あなた follow these 8 steps correctly, あなた and everybody else who did this will be one step closer to ending 子犬 mills, for good.

The Humane Society of the United States strongly opposes keeping wild 動物 as pets. This principle applies to both native and nonnative species, whether caught in the wild または bred in captivity. The overwhelming majority of people who obtain these 動物 are unable to provide the care they require.

Caring for Wild 動物 Is Difficult または Impossible

Despite what animal sellers may say, appropriate care for wild 動物 requires considerable expertise, specialized facilities, and lifelong dedication to the animals. Their nutritional and social needs are demanding to meet and, in many cases,...

子犬 mills are cruel places for female イヌ and their pups to be at. Female イヌ are breed OVER AND OVER again just for money. They are not fed as much 食 as あなた usually give your dog. We all know that dog fighting is a serious problem, especially with pitbulls.Despite being wonderful companion animals, Pit Bulls often attract the worst kind of dog owners—those who are only interested in them for fighting または protection. It's a shame what has happened to this loyal and affectionate breed. Despite its illegality, people are still training and breeding Pit Bulls to participate in dog fights across the country. Here are ten ways あなた can help end this cruel “sport”:

1. Support stronger laws. Visit the ASPCA Advocacy Center to keep up to 日付 on dog fighting legislation in...

So this is an essay I wrote for school about why people shouldn't kill 動物 for their fur. I hope あなた like it! =)

Did あなた know 100 chinchillas are killed to make ONE 毛皮 coat? または 55 wild mink? または 18 red foxes? These are all things that not happen. But it's not only that, it is also the way that they are killed.
Thousands of beavers, cheetahs, cats, dogs, chinchillas, foxes, minks, rabbits, raccoons, seals, and bears are killed for their 毛皮 every year. Some are raised for it. They are kept in cramp spaces, and some are forced into bags または boxes to die of oxygen. Others get an injection....

President Obama & His new Dog, Bo
April 29,2009

Today was President Barack Obama's 100th 日 in office. So, what has Obama done for, または against, 動物 in his first 100 days in office?

Expectations were high during campaign season. Obama and VP Joe Biden both had great records on animal issues heading into the election, and won the endorsement of the Humane Society Legislative Fund. One disappointment was Obama's statement that a hunter should head the Department of the Interior. Despite pleas from animal advocates, Obama appointed a hunter, Senator Ken Salazar, as Secretary of the Interior. However, Obama also appointed animal-friendly...

When あなた euthanize an animal it means あなた give a medicine to an animal to stop its heart. Yes, that means あなた kill it. Most people prefer the term "put to sleep".

My family does euthanize our pets, but only when they are suffering and have no hope of living. We recently had to put down our Beagle, (thats a dog) Peaches. She was old and quickly dieing and we didnt want her to suffer. I beleive this is part of animal rights. Some people dont think its right to do that. But あなた want the best thing for your pets, right?

If your pet is suffering, please consider this.
