Alfred paced back and forth in the parlor. He pulled out a small pocket watch, dangling on a golden chain. It was almost two o’clock. They should be here によって now. Nine scraggly-looking teenagers, their faces sullen, hands on their hips または folded across their chest, stood to greet him.
