Chapter Nine-

There had been no hesitation. No 秒 thoughts this time. The address was hers. 

She was going in.

Revenge picked himself up off the ground and threw another パンチ at the hooded assassin.

"I think you've killed enough people." he said, gasping as Reaper's scythe cut him on his side.

"Just meeting my quota." Reaper replied.

Revenge stumbled back from Reaper's blow to his leg. Reaper came at him again, swinging his scythe and laughing like a maniac.

Revenge threw a few daggers in front of him and a smoke 雲, クラウド erupted. Shooting a grappling line, Revenge swung behind him and kicked him in the back.

Grabbing a few もっと見る daggers, he threw them into the smoke 雲, クラウド Reaper was currently in. They exploded.

Out of nowhere, Reaper jumped down and punched Revenge in the face.

Revenge stumbled back, rubbing his jaw.

"Tell Luthor to give it up!" Revenge said.

Reaper stopped and looked at the young hero.

"Luthor? Luthor? No, no. I work for a much bigger cause!"

Revenge didn't give that thought time to process, he leapt at Reaper. Revenge punched him in the stomach and limped back. Reaper swung his scythe like a baseball bat and hit Revenge in the skull, knocking him into the wall.

"Now, if あなた will excuse me, I have some もっと見る people to go kill." Reaper said, and ram out of the room.

によって the time Revenge had hauled himself out of the basement, the 次 businessman was dead.

"Something -ow! Watch it!" Sam said.

"Stop whining like a little baby." Sarah said, wiping the rest of the blood off of Sam's leg.

"Something bigger, he said." Revenge continued. Looking at the computer, he added: "Any luck yet?"

"Nope." Sarah said, wrapping the bandage around the wound. "Wayne Industries is out, Germanic Clocks are out, LexCorp is out according to you, and I have no idea on how to get data from New Russia."

Sam sat for a moment, thinking. "What do あなた mean, あなた can't?" 

"They have no main office building in America. Somewhere in Moscow."

"We can worry about that later, what am I going to tell my mom?" 

"What do あなた mean?"

Sam rolled his eyes. "Son, why are あなた limping?" he asked, in a horrible imitation of his mother. "School fight mom. What's that bandage on your leg? Where I got stabbed.' Can あなた imagine what she would do?"

"You could-"

"No! Absolutely not." Sam said.

"Why not tell her?" Sarah asked, taping the bandage and standing up. "She could do this instead of me."

"Do I really need to tell あなた again?" Sam asked.

Sarah sighed and walked over to the computer. She typed a few things before all the data she had appeared on the holo screen in the middle of the room.

Sam looked at it for a moment. "Open information about New Russia."

Sarah opened the requested file. Sam read for a 分 before limping to the 表, テーブル and sliding his suit on again.

"Where are あなた going?" Sarah asked.

"I know who it is. I know where to find their base of operations in America. Call Chief Draxx and give him these coordinates." Sam said, handing Sarah a piece of paper while simultaneously slipping his シャツ and cape on.

Slipping on the final piece of his uniform, Revenge jumped on his bike and gunned it, screeching out of the garage.

"I don't know how he plans to keep this secret if he keeps doing that." Sarah said.

"You are absolutely sure?" Draxx asked, looking at the factory.

"Absolutely." Revenge replied, 読み込み中 his gun.

"Remind me again why we are taking care of the Russian's business?"

"Besides multiple other good reasons, because I've got a score to settle. After you?"

Draxx busted down the door. Taking down a few guards, the squad and vigilante moved in.

Ice crystals caught several officers in the vest, but Revenge dodged them all.

The villainess dropped down from the rafters and looked at him fuzzily for a 分 before throwing もっと見る ice spikes at him.

Revenge tossed a dagger at the ice villain. It detonated and a wave of heat filled the room. Crystal fell back, giving Revenge enough time to land a kick to her chest.

Draxx's men engaged the Russian forces. Ducking behind cover, grenades flying through the air, the place quickly began to resemble a war zone. 

Which made it even もっと見る likely that the missiles being manufactured would be detonated.

"You 発言しました we were storming a building! Not going to war!" Draxx yelled, ducking as bullets hit the クレート, 木枠 he was hiding behind.

Revenge had his own problems though. Ice Crystal's powers had improved. She shot waves of ice at the teen vigilante. He ducked behind a クレート, 木枠 and threw some black daggers at the villainess. From a distance it looked like a battle of white versus black.

Draxx's men were slowly pushing the Russian forces back. No one had been killed yet on either side, though plenty were wounded.

The Russian soldiers were soon pushed back to a walk in freezer, Draxx's men following.

The (other) icy battle was taking an unexpected turn.  Revenge had thrown an ice dagger instead of a heat dagger. Now Ice Crystal's powers were receiving a boost instead of being drained.

Revenge shot disks through the air, but they dropped to the floor halfway across, encased in ice.

Revenge leaped over the クレート, 木枠 and ran at Crystal. He slipped on the ice and fell on his back. Ice Crystal encased his legs in ice and walked over to him. He threw a dagger at her, but she dodged it and it impaled itself in the wall.

"Have we met before?" she asked in a friendly tone, kneeling beside him.

"Maybe" Revenge said, trying to slice her with a dagger.

She grabbed his wrist and slammed his arm to the ground. "Nuh-uh." she 発言しました sweetly. 

"If you're going to try charm me again, it won't work." Revenge 発言しました sharply.

"So we have met before." Crystal said. "I remember now, Revenge."

"I remember あなた aren't one for brains." Revenge said, holding up a detonator.

Crystal looked at him in horror, then at the dagger impaled in the wall.

"You wouldn't..." she said.

"Welcome to America, honey." Revenge said, pressing the detonator. The temperature raised fifty degrees, thawing the ice around Revenge's feet and throwing Ice Crystal into the wall.

"Clear!" Draxx called.

"Clear? This place is bloody empty!" 

Revenge walked over to Ice Crystal and picked her up によって the collar.

"Now," he said. "Why don't あなた be a good little girl and tell me where your boss is?"
