The sound of an alarm was the only thing that brought the boy to, not the eerie silence of the apartment, または the screeching siren that sounded throughout Gotham's streets. He turned from the window and walked out of his room, looking down the hall at the decorations that scattered along the wall. Every door closed, no noise within the house. Shane frowned and slipped into the bathroom closest to his room, downing the medication that sat in a container on the counter. He rubbed his eyes and traveled down the hallway, stopping at his parent's bedroom. A fist rose to the door, only stopping at the sound of his younger sisters voice. "Don't bother, I got no answer." She 発言しました and sipped from her glass of オレンジ juice. "Did あなた open the door?' Shane rose an eyebrow, lowering his hand. "No, we don't what's going on in there." The other twin said, this one a boy. Shane only stared back at the two before opened the door. The sight that the male saw before him almost resulted in the losing of his medicated that he had just taken. He covered his mouth and backed away, earning the attention of his siblings. He quickly reached and slammed the door shut, holding it in place so the two younger siblings couldn't see the mess behind the door. "Go." He mumbled, swallowing the urge to lose his stomach. Shane only stared at the two before slipping into his parent's bedroom, locking the door behind him. Fear racked throughout the male, his feet taking a step every few seconds. Shane stared at the red liquid that seemed to cover every inch of the room, his eyes locking onto his deceased parents. He balled up a hand into a fist and bit down onto it, fighting the urge to throw a fit and lose the contents of his stomach. Shane took a few deep breaths and shook his head, turning back for the door. The boy stumbled as nausea took over, taking a few steps before collapsing onto his hands and knees. Shane swallowed his stomach and crawled to the door, reaching up and latching onto the doorknob. His green eyes widened as memories came flooding in. White gloves tapped on the keyboard, the other hand supporting a chin. "Seems he missed the deadline.." The male sighed out. "Yes. It seems so." A quiet voice spoke, head tilting as they watched the screen. "You know what to do. Kill them." He 発言しました and pushed away from the computer, slowly rising from the seat. The figure continued to stare straight ahead, careful not to look at the person who spoke. "I-" The male interrupted, staring down. "That is part of your job, isn't it?" That can't be it, there has to be more! I have to kno-" He stopped mid-sentence, feeling his body start to convulse and seizure.

"Shane..." His young sister spoke quietly, gently patting his face with a cool cloth, using her knees to リスペクト her brother up. Shane's エメラルド eyes opened to stare at black shoes, then slowly traveling upwards. He stared at the officer blankly, not noticing his younger brother shivering beside his decease parent's doorway. "Your older brother will be here shortly to pick the twins up. You're needed elsewhere." The blond slowly rose, wiping the remaining foam from his mouth. "Mmnot goin' anywhe-" He coughed ruggedly when his abdomen met with the shoe. His arms were grabbed and he was roughly drug upwards, despite his sister crying for him. Shane's head rolled to the side, looking at his brother. The green eyes widened when he recognized a few officers, and how.. wolfish they appeared. He weakly pushed against the men that pull him away towards the elevator, his socks sliding against the hardwood floors. Shane was shoved into the elevator, his forehead meeting the far wall. The guards locked onto Shane again, holding him tightly as a bag was shoved over his head. The teen was picked up as if he weighed nothing when the doors opened, carried a short distance before he was thrown into the back of a van. The bag was removed and Shane blinked rapidly, looking around before locking eyes with another persons. "Hello, Shane." Seraphs grinned, leaning close to him.

Jaime packed the suitcase, trying to shake the feeling of his father glaring him down from the doorway. "You know I have to go.." He sighed and closed the suitcase, sliding his backpack on. "I know. But that doesn't mean I'm going to enjoy it." Fang walked over, taking the boy's wrist and placing the watch on it. He pulled his son into a hug, holding him tightly. Jaime enjoyed the affection, leaning into it before pulling away, staring up at Fang, only now noticing the gray hairs that were starting to peek through in his stubble and styled hair. "I have a few もっと見る hours, still.." His blue eyes darted to the ground, sitting on the edge of bed. Fang walked over and sat beside him, an arm pulling his son close. "I don't know.. something feels off, Kori.." Nicolette whined out. Nicolette Clancy, she was only 5'4, black hair cut in a short bob, icy blue eyes that matched her fathers, and Kori seemed to tower over her, but the two seemed to click naturally, just as their fathers did. Nicolette turned sharply to one side, her short black hair whipping, her black 狐, フォックス tail fluffing outward at the sign of danger. "Nicki.." Kori moved back, looking upward, staring at the portal that opened. "This was the sudden spike of electromagnetic readings?" Kori stared, the two moving backward in unison as not one, but four figures came outward from the portal. The first, a boy with tan skin, bright purple eyes and pitch-black hair, clad in purple and prison shackles. The three following behind resembled the same skin color, but were heavily armed, much like prison guards. The boy held his hands outward, the two girls shielding their eyes as the neon purple starbolt shot forward, sending the guards back through the portal before the boy came crashing down to Earth. Kori stared at her friend, weapons in hand before slowly approaching the unfamiliar person. His eyes shot open and locked onto Kori, reaching out and grabbing onto her, easily pulling himself up. She glared and pulled back her fist to パンチ before she was kissed, a scream coming from Nicolette. "Back, up!" Electrified hands grabbed onto the alien, Kori quickly wiping down her face. Nicolette tossed him back, a single strike of lightning crashing to the ground beside him. "Nicki!" Kori quickly pressed her boot against the girl's back, giving her a small shove to send the back to her senses. The boy quickly scooted away. "Wait, wait wait wait!" He held out his hands, an index finger pointed upwards on both. "Hear me out!" He shouted, staring at the staff that had been pushed against his chest.

Monochromatic eyes stared off in the distance, arms crossed as they gray headed teen watch him with confusion. "It's begun.." Tobias placed one hand on his hip, silent. "What?" Percy didn't bother to look in the direction of Tobias' voice, for he was too busy feeling around the edges of puzzle pieces. "The downfall of the Adams."
