"What?!" Chris and Trystan 発言しました at the same time, looking at each other before following after Scotty. "What do あなた mean it's gone? How do あなた lose a body?" Chris held his nephew close, rocking the toddler. "We'll discuss this later." The 狐, フォックス muttered as he pushed open a door, staring at the green chair before making his way over to it and falling into it. Scotty rubbed his face, holding the blanket close to him, he looked back at Black Canary with a frown. "Scotty, there wasn't anything あなた could do." She 発言しました and leaned forward. "He was right there in front of me.. Then I got him killed. My partner. My solider. My fault.And I'll carry that like everything else." Scotty stated and stood, getting a look from Black Canary that she knew he was done. Scotty nodded once and left the room, brushing past Chris and Trystan in complete silence. "Hold it right there." Strong hands gripped onto the fox's shoulder, twirling him around. Scotty locked eyes with Chris, his ears pinned back to his head. "I went back with Nightwing, wasn't anywhere to be found.. The only thing that was left was the wing." Scotty pulled from the grip only to be stared at in disbelief. Chris was silent, holding the toddler in one arm as he stared straight forward. "Who would.." Trystan whispered and ran his fingers through his hair. "I don't know." Chris mumbled as Scotty's ear twitched, the 狐, フォックス rubbing his hands together. Chris took notice of the twitch before leaning close. "Scott, あなた been drinking?" He rose a brow. Scotty glanced up and shrugged. "Maybe one, two... six. Metabolism is high enough that I can't get passed a slight buzz stage." He waved Chris off, turning around to leave. "Not the way to handle your emotions, Scott." The 狐, フォックス stopped and turned. "I know, but that's the only way to keep the monster at bay."

Chris didn't reply but only looked at Trystan with a concerned look. Waiting until Scotty had left, Chris spoke up to ease Trystan's heavily confused expression. "Scotty is a reincarnation of the kitsune.. I had always wondered just how many tails he had, because we've never seen his full form.. But with that statement, I'd say there haven't been many reincarnations, and that the spirit is very unstable and not very wise.." Trystan just gave a slow nod, taking in everything he had just heard. "C'mon.." Chris sighed and ran out, Trystan following after him. Once outside, Trystan held his arms up to shield his face from the wind that was blowing. Chris shifted his nephew before looking at Trystan. "Do not lose sight of Scotty! I'm taking him back to his mother." Chris 発言しました and got a nod as a reply before running off.

Tobias stepped inside Cadmus and made his way to Fletcher's office. He looked inside the disheveled office, raising a single brow. Fletcher held a single vial up, not looking at Tobias. "This could have saved him..if only he hadn't left that day.." He whispered. Tobias stepped in, setting things in order. "Where's the wing?" He glared at the chemist, continuing to look around the room. "No idea, was gone when I got back....I thought I told あなた not to come back here." Fletcher said, grabbing a scalpel from the desk, swinging it at Tobias. The instrument was met with Tobias' scissors, the red head scowling upwards. "You really wanna do this?" He spat out, not moving until a sudden flash of lightening brought both males out of their trance. Tobias' eyes widened at the realization. "It's winter, how.." Fletcher started, getting a reply soon after. "Scotty..."

Alex looked out the window at the storm that was growing rapidly. "Scotty.." She whispered and stared at her buzzing phone, pushing it aside when she realized the caller was her brother. "Jaaaack, I'm going out for a bit!" She called out before running out the storm and into the treacherous weather.
