Chapter One

Entry # No Longer Counting

"She killed him!"
"Its the Demon Woman!"
"She's a murderer!"
"Witch! Burn her at the stake!"

I could only stare in horror at the way the victim looked. I killed him with both poison and touch. I backed away as realization came to me of what I had done. I pulled my gloves back on without notice, and was abruptly pulled from my thoughts of the poor man laying before me.
I was roughly handcuffed, "Babylon, あなた are being charged with the multiple attempts and successes of murder in the 2nd degree."
I almost fainted, I was being charged for murder, and anyone charged for murder in this time period would be 与えられた the Ultimate punishment. The electric chair.

I fell to my knees, unable to breathe and crying. I let myself drop into the dirt and curled up there. I finally forced myself to get up, and I walked to town. It was not the one I came from, so I was not known.
I thank god for that.
I walked wearing nothing into the entrance of the town, and stumbled on, women and men gasping as I walked. A woman finally threw something at me. A sheet. I pulled it around myself and continued walking. It was shame..I looked like a prostitute. And I was sure they all thought I was one.

So I walked and finally reached an inn, I had nothing to pay the owner with, and with my youthful appearance, he told me I could stay for 5 nights if he could have me for one.
I had no energy left, and still felt dead, so i allowed it.

I stayed at that inn for four days. Until I left and ストール, 盗んだ a horse. I ストール, 盗んだ clothes from the innkeepers wife, and rode off. I would find a new town, like I always did, and start my new life there. A new life, a new story.
