Part 5:
“Holy Crow! What the heck just happened?”
Robin, Aqueous, Wire, Gunfire were all in the lounge, along with Blade and Harley.
“Well, don’t look at me dude”, Wire answered Robin for all, “But it doesn’t look good.”
Everyone stared at the darkness around them, poised for any unknown attacks.
“Guys, calm down. Who knows if it really is the bad guys? It could just be the power.” Harley reassured everyone, though she didn’t look convinced herself.
“Well”, Blade snarled, her hands already gripping on a revolver “Whatever it is, Harley’s wrong. That wasn’t just a power cut. Robin, do the check. Plus, I can hear something just down” Her red eyes moved down to look at one of the caves halls. They could hear few noises, which was increasing and making their way down.
Robin pulled out his ring-dings from his yellow utility ベルト which was strung around his shoulder like a sash. “Team, we have an intruder.”
“Thanks, captain obvious!” Blade spat out under her breath. Even though with the attitude, あなた could sense the tension in her voice.
“Blade. Please.” Aqueous grumbled. He was a bit worried too. He made a quick telepathic link with his sister. ‘April-you fine?’ She must of received it, though she was in intense panic ‘Cecil? Thank goodness! Are あなた alright? Yes, I’m fine, even the rest of the girls, though we’re showered in complete darkness. Is there any way I-we can meet you?’
Aqueous thought for a minute. 迅速, スウィフト was good in her stealth and could easily come here in a jiffy without getting caught, though he sensed that these buggers weren’t the only ones here. The other bad guys could be all around the cave. The Team needed full patrol of the mountain. ‘No, bad idea. あなた stay with the girls and make sure to keep full patrol. Send a telepathic link with the others too, and warn them によって telling them the same thing. Even Spectrum, HotShot, Glimmer and Mockingbird. I bet their on their own,’ Aqueous stopped thinking and than rushed on quickly, ‘Oh, and is your telepathic range strong enough?’ There was a long pause. 迅速, スウィフト than answered. ‘Yah, its fresh. Why?’
Aqueous than replied. ‘ Fog the buggers brains into thinking we’re all in our costumes, we can’t afford losing our identities-considering we’re all now in our civilian clothes.’
‘Oh, got ya there bro.’
Aqueous than bought down the telepathic link. He quickly looked at his teammates.
“I set 迅速, スウィフト on with an assignment with all the other girls-their safe.”
“Thank goodness! I was worried about Fin. Thanks dude.” Robin said, he looked a little better.
“So, what do we do?” Wire asked. He looked lost.
“We need to separate”, Gunfire replied. He was thinking hard, his blue eyes tense.
“No, The others are on that. Their setting full patrol on their grounds. Now we need to do ours, and thats here” Aqueous said.
“Cecil is right”, Robin said. “We need to keep low. The bad guys think we’re lost-so we better keep that advantage-now that we got it. No attacks. Just improvise and ONLY attack when necessary. But now, we keep our ground.”
“Form a サークル, 円 ” Harley whispered.
Aqueous, Robin, Wire, Blade, Gunfire, and Harley formed one, their backs to each other.
Robin, Blade, and Gunfire set their weapons and Harley, Aqueous and Wire positioned themselves, their hands tingling with power.
