Megan stared at the papers that were on the table, she picked up the Daily Planet, and opened up to a ランダム section in the paper. Her eyes bugged out. Harley’s picture was in it. She wore a skimpy bikini, blue with red polka dots. Large sunglasses, her hair had grown back to its normal length that they were all used to. She held a drinking glass, that held a red colored drink. Megan almost coughed up her cereal, when Superboy walked in. He strode over to her ad smacked her as lightly as he could on the back, hand tingling as he touched her. “You okay M’gann?” Megan nodded, “Yeah, but Conner. Look.” She held up the newspaper, and Conner stared at it, 読書 the head line. He looked at Megan, “Who knows about this?” Megan shrugged, “No idea, I just saw it here this morning. あなた think Nightwing knows?” Conner sighed, “Probably, but we should take it to him anyway.” Megan nodded and she and Conner made their way to the training room, and there Nightwing was, working on the computer. Conner cleared his throat, and Nightwing didn’t even look up. Instead he made vocal recognition, “Yeah?” Megan 発言しました in a concerned voice, “Nightwing, あなた should see this.” Nightwing looked up and Conner handed him the newspaper. He read aloud, “Metropolis’s #1 Bachlorette. Harley Mei Kent?” Nightwing stood up now, staring at the page, “Where did あなた find this?” Megan sighed, “it was on the table.” Nightwing snapped another question, “Who has seen this?” Conner answered this time, “From what we know, only M’gann and I have seen it. And you.” Nightwing shook his head, “Good. あなた know we cant let Skylar see this. He’d be a train wreck.” Conner looked at him, “You mean もっと見る than he already is?”
Nightwing sighed, “I’m surprised Batman’s still allowing him on the team, due to his behavior. I didn’t think バットマン would keep on tolerating it.” He looked at the paper then and said, “Dispose of it. I’m sure Clark is aware of this…and バットマン is sure to know.” Conner nodded and took the newspaper, “sure thing Nightwing.”

Skylar was walking out in the streets, his headphones at the highest setting he could get them. He walked passed the Daily Planet, and his mind went to seeing Harley walking out of there. He waved away the illusion. He kept walking but came to the little machines that held the day’s newspaper. He slipped in a quarter and pulled out the Daily Planet. He flipped threw the pages, throwing out the things he didn’t find interesting in the trash bins that came around at every other block. He opened to the last section and he growled at the picture. He stared at before throwing it to the ground and screaming in frustration. Causing people to turn and look at him. He stared down at the newspaper, “she’s no bachlorette! She’s my girlfriend!” people moved away from his enraged voice and crying.

At Harley’s House:

The doorbell rang for the 秒 time since she had been released. She stood and looked at her bat によって the door. Would she need it? Could it be her フレンズ again? Nightwing? Skylar?
She shook the thought away, and grabbed the bat anyway. She opened the door, and her bat dropped. “Clark…Bruce…” she whispered. Clark nodded and smiled, “it is so good to see あなた Harley. Its been to long.” He rushed フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして to pull her into a hug, one much like he gave her when she came back from surgery. Harley held back her tears. Clark hugged and set her down, “You look all grown up now Harley. Not the same girl we met when we met あなた for the first time.” She smiled, but soon stopped. Everything was quiet, and Clark glared at Bruce. If he stared any harder, Harley was sure that Bruce’s head would explode. Bruce finally sighed, “Harley, we,” Clark elbowed him, “uh…I came to apologize. I never should have thrown あなた off the team that way. I am really sorry about that. I was just being protective, I thought what I was doing was right…but I see that it was wrong. I hope あなた can forgive me.” Harley stared in disbelief. This was the only apology she had ever heard Bruce または バットマン ever say. Harley kind of stood there アナと雪の女王 for a 秒 before, launching herself at Bruce, hugging him tightly, “Sure thing, Bruce.” She pulled back and Bruce and Clark smiled, “Well it was good to see あなた Harley. And I guess…everyone’s allowed to see あなた now.” Harley smiled and blinked, and then Bruce and Clark were gone. She laughed and closed the door. And then went to her room, and went to look into her closet, she smiled as she did so.

Skylar flew to Harley’s once he was out of sight. Angry and sad…smad really. He finally had her ホーム in sight and flew down. He pounded on her door. He waited, but no one answered. He shouted now, “HARLEY! OPEN THE DOOR!” But again. No one answered.
Finally his comp blared, “Skylar come in. A robbery in in attempt! You’re the closest to it. Get there now! Nightwing, and Superboy will meet あなた there.” Skylar mumbled a curse under his breath but left to the coordinates he was sent.

He landed and saw the police packing up. He saw Nightwing and Superboy get there too, after him. “Are we to late?” asked Superboy. A cop came up, “Thanks for sending some one over so quickly. Though I thought she had retired, but I don’t watch the news often…so I guess it ain’t no surprise I did know.” All three boys looked at the Cop, with the face that translated. “what in the world are あなた talking about あなた crazy cop?”
The cop pointed to the woman talking to the other policemen, two culprits on her shoulders. Superboy, Nightwing, and Skylar glanced at each other. The woman handed them the robbers and turned to the three ヒーローズ that stared at her. She smiled and called, “Obscurity is back!”
