I winded the car window down; I could smell the fresh air, it was peaceful. My name is Katelyn Peers, I’m sixteen years old and I have never met my parents. The only family member I have ever known is my brother, Sam, he is my age, his my twin and usually twins are meant to have a bond, there is no bond for us, the only reason he puts up with me is because of our father, I have never met him, but Sam has, and for some reason he has respect for the man. I used to go to Down クロス academy for girls that were until I ran away a 年 前 with Sam. I turned to see Sam driving the car; his long blond hair was in his face, covering his dark blue eyes. Sam looked nothing like me; I had チョコレート brown hair and dark almost black eyes. His skin was pale, but it matched his features perfectly. I had オリーブ skin; in fact the only thing we had in common was our last name. I signed, and rested my head on the 上, ページのトップへ of my car seat. “Where are we going?” I asked. I saw him roll his eyes at me, and then he just sighed.“A small town called Westville, maybe we can settle down there, I can put あなた into a school and then I can get a job” He replied, I nodded and then turned my attention back to the window.I wanted to ask how long until we got there, but today I didn’t want to push his buttons. I rested my head back on my シート, 座席 and then closed my eyes. Slowly I started to drift off.

I opened my eyes, I saw that we were parked in front of a house, I turned to Sam, he was talking to a tall man, the man had dark black hair and brown eyes, and he looked about forty または thirty. He noticed me and smiled. “The young lady is awake” he said, Sam turned to me and smiled. “This is Kate” he said, the man put his hand through Sam’s window to shake mine, I did the same. “Well, come on in” he said, opening Sam’s door. His smiled was wide; his dark brown eyes were kind. I smiled and got out of the car. Sam did the same, he walked over and opened he boot. I got my one bag out. “Who is he and where are we?” I whispered, looking around at the nice neighbourhood. Sam smiled; his blue eyes were full of amusement. “A friend of dad’s and like I 発言しました we are in Westville” he told me mockingly. He closed the boot and started walking to the door. I followed; the man was holding the front door open. “Come on, time to get あなた settled in” he said, I walked in and saw a woman, she was standing in front of a lit 火災, 火 place, the house was beautiful, all the couched were white. There were 花 themed curtains. It reminded me of a nanna’s house. I turned back to the woman. She had long blond hair and light blue eyes. “Oh, あなた two are so young!” She 発言しました I smiled as she grabbed Sam’s cheeks. “This is my wife Rose, and Sasha and Caleb and still at school, they’re about your age” he said. I smiled at Rose. “Hello, Rose I’m Kate” I said. I went to shake her hand but she hugged me instead. “Oh あなた look too much like your father” She said, I tried to hug her back. The words she 発言しました didn’t really make my day. “Boyd, darlings take them up to their rooms” She told the tall man who must have been Boyd. He smiled and picked up my bags. “Aren’t あなた going to carry mine?” Sam joked. Boyd turned to him and smiled. “You need some muscle” He told hi, and then he turned to go upstairs.

Boyd told Sam to put his stuff in a blue room with posters up and had a skateboard lying on one of the beds; I assumed it was Caleb’s room. Boyd turned to me and smiled; he walked past me and opened a door. The room was pink; it had nothing hanging up on the walls. There was a 机, デスク and a book shelf and two beds. “You can bunk with Sasha” he said. I walked in the room, it ワカサギ, 錬金術 like roses. “There is room in one of the cupboards” he said, I smiled at him as he put my stuff of one of the beds. “Well I’ll leave あなた to get settled in” he 発言しました as he left the room closing the door. I signed and sat on my bed. I looked around the room. I signed; I got up and looked at the book shelf. The 本 were thick and had weird names. I heard the door open and then a loud gasp. I turned to see a small girl with dark brown hair like mine, she had green eyes, and she had a public school uniform on and a bag around her shoulders. She then screamed. “Mommy, there’s a strange girl in my room” She yelled stepping back. I smiled, and even giggled a bit. “You must be Sasha” I said. She gave me a confused look, the door opened again, it was Rose. “Sasha, Darling this is Kate” She said, she 発言しました gesturing a hand to me. I waved, she didn’t wave back. “What is she doing in my room?” she asked, looking at her mother and then me. “She’s staying here for a while” Her mother explained to her. “Come on” Rose said, pushing her daughter out of the room, I followed.

I followed Rose and Sasha downstairs. Sam, Boyd and a Tall boy with brown hair, who must have been Caleb, were sitting at the table. I took a シート, 座席 次 to Sam. “What is going on?” Caleb asked his parents not even noticing that Sam and I were there. Rose signed. “Do あなた remember Jack Peers?” Rose asked. Sasha nodded and then looked at me. Great they knew my father better than I did. Caleb nodded, his eyes flashed to me. I smiled in return but he snickered and turned back to his parents. I sighed, and looked at Sam. That’s one of the many things that peeved me about Sam; he always thought he knew what was best for us. Whether it is running away from school または moving from place to place to this. Boyd spoke next. “Well Kate and Sam are his daughter and son” he 発言しました smiling at me. “They need a place to stay” Rose 発言しました in a gentle tone. “So they have to be in our rooms?” Sasha 発言しました in her soprano voice. Caleb rolled his eyes. “Well yeah” Boyd said. I rolled my eyes and signed. “We’re not planning on staying here for long” I 発言しました coldly, Sam shot me a look. I stuck my tongue out at him. I looked back up and saw that everyone was looking at me. Boyd cleared his throat. “We’re happy to have あなた here” he said, I smiled at him and Rose. “Whatever, I have to go meet Jess” Caleb 発言しました getting up. Sasha followed, she stomped her way upstairs. I signed and looked at Sam. “What?” he said, putting his hands up like I had a gun on him. I snickered in disgust as I ran upstairs. I walked past Caleb’s room his door was closed. I walked a bit further to Sasha’s room, I went to open the door but it was locked. I banged on it. “Open up!” I yelled. She opened the door, he arms were crossed. “What?” She asked, I tried to walk in but she stopped me. “Let me in before those blond curls get ripped of your head” I said, her mouth dropped she snickered and walked away letting me come in. “Just so あなた know, I hate you” She 発言しました to me walking out of the room. I laughed. I took another look at the all too ピンク room. “Welcome to Westville” I 発言しました to myself.
