[BREAKING] Wonder Girls to disband + release last digital single on their 10th anniversary

Wonder Girls will be disbanding this year.

JYP Entertainment officially announced the disbandment of Wonder Girls. The announcement states, "After a time of discussion, we have decided on the disbandment of Wonder Girls. Out of the members, Yubin and Lim have renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment. They plan to show new sides of them in a variety fields including music, acting, and MC-ing. 

Yenny and Sunmi will, unfortunately, be leaving the label, as they wished to walk new paths. To repay the love to the fans who\'s been by their side with an unchanging love for the past 10 years, they plan to release one last digital single on their 10th anniversary on February 10. 

We, JYP Entertainment, want to thank fans worldwide who\'ve been together with Wonder Girls\' throughout their 10-year journey. We will continue to support the improved future of the remaining and parting members. 

I saw this coming because of how long it took to discuss contracts, but this still breaks my heart. I remember my sister playing \'Nobody\' and me wondering who was singing. Then watching that stupid movie/show on Nick and just loving the Wonder Girls and dancing to their songs. Is the 10 year curse now a thing? I\'m looking forward to their last single, and I hope these girls all are successful on their future endeavors

Well they\'ve given us 10 great years. Thank you for being Wonder Girls.

I was never a Wonderful to feel any longing for them but if you look at the 90 kpop groups coming together, maybe 10 years from now all the girls, including Sunye and Hyuna, will get together to put on a show.

Interesting how the 2 who had solo debuts are also the ones who have decided to leave JYP.

Girls Generation and Big Bang are literally all that we have left from the 2007 era. Hopefully none of those groups are disbanding any time soon.

My generation is nearly gone. T_T I joined kpop in 2006. There is almost nothing left of it anymore.

i honestly don\'t believe they disbanded out of their own will. i don\'t know if it\'s because i don\'t want to believe o because jyp basically neglected them, but i am positive they wanted to stay together and jyp didn\'t let them.
