Everyone seems to be hating on Hydra. What do あなた guys think?

I like covers from some people myself. But, with Within Temptation, i prefer their own stuff. I didn't hate the album, but it wasn't like their usual stuff.

Eh, I don't like it but I don't hate it. As I've stated before, it doesn't have that dramatic edge that all of their 前 albums had and it's too peppy for me. Symphonic Metal is my お気に入り genre for a reason, and this album sounded a bit too much like all those current pop/rock bands that I dislike and I prize the entire Symphonic Metal genre over.

Overall, I'm still not sure what to think of Hydra, except that I thought Covered によって バラ in particular was fantastic. Possibly because it reminded me of songs from The Unforgiving, which I really liked too.
