I remember visiting this website once...
It was called TV Review: Weird Loners 1.6 “We’re Here. We’re Weird. Get Used To Us.”
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
TV Review: Weird Loners 1.6 “We’re Here. We’re Weird. Get Used To Us.”
Season 1 Episode 6: “We’re Here, We’re Weird, Get Used To Us.”
Starring Becki Newton, Zachary Knighton, Nate Torrence, Meera Rohit Kumbhani
It is the sixth and last episode of this tiny little season of
on FOX. No word yet if it has been picked up for a full second season. I think it deserves at least one more season, to see if it can find a groove. A quirky little comedy about four lonely, relationship challenged people who become each other’s support (sometimes in an unsupportive way), the show does garner a few laughs and has the potential to be bigger and better, especially with the addition of Stosh’s (Zachary Knighton) son.
Last night’s episode, titled “We’re Here. We’re Weird. Get Used To Us.,” found Caryn (Becki Newton) and Stosh competing for the same girl (super guest alert –
‘s Katie Aselton). Caryn is not even a lesbian, but she is very unlucky in love, so why not try? They get a little handsy and grabby with her, and there’s a fun montage of each watching the other come home from dates from their windows. The end of that mess may not be surprising, but perhaps it will be.
On the Zara (Meera Rohit Kumbhani) and Eric (Nate Torrence) side, Eric joins Zara’s lesbian dart team, because everyone thinks Eric is a butch woman. I can see that. They do so well, and he even gets almost lucky. You know why I said almost, right? I hope this doesn’t disqualify them from the championship. Decent episode. The four actors are great with the physical comedy, and good with their dialogue. It ends on a funny and mostly positive note for everyone, probably because of the uncertain future season status.
One thing – I did not know Zara was a lesbian until this episode. Did you?
