Penguinator There is more to tornadogensis than just the collision of a warm moist and cold dry air masses. You need vorticity (a spin in the air) along with vertical wind shear (A change of the direction and speed of wind with height) for tornadoes to develop, along with a lifting mechanism (Dry line, warm/cold front, upper level low, etc). Still, this is a very good diagram of a supercell.
