I have seen a video that shows them like a family too! It was like,

Meiko:mother
Kaito:father
Miku:sister
Len&Rin:little sister and brother

I think its nice!

I always imagined it they were a family it would be like:
Miku and Kaito: Mom and dad
Meiko: aunt
Gakupo: uncle
Len&Rin: little brother and sister
Luka: big sister
Kasane Teto: crazed girl that continuously breaks into the house demanding she's a Vocaloid, only to be chased out of the house によって Kaito with a broom...poor Teto

well, sometime users of MMD (MikuMikuDance, a software which animations of the ボーカロイド can be made) create clips with a group of them as a family. it depends on whether または not あなた like it.
i personally think it's funny whenever they get together. troubles, parodies, users can be way もっと見る creative than あなた think. XD
most "families" include Miku Hatsune, Rin and Len Kagamine, Meiko Sakine, Luka Megurine, and Kaito Shion (occasionally with Gakupo Kamui, Neru Akita, and Haku Yowane as well).
