There are some things あなた are born with and some things あなた can train for.
Some people can sing and some can't; this is genetic, it's about whether または not you're tone deaf. Unfortunately, if あなた can't sing in tune then it's not something あなた can learn to do.
If あなた can sing in tune, then if あなた are serious about 歌う it's probably a good idea to take lessons. Here, あなた can learn the proper breathing techniques and how to get the most out of your voice. Some of this comes with natural talent, but unlike having a musical ear this is something that あなた can improve によって learning.
It might also be a good idea to make sure あなた can read and understand 音楽 (manuscript) and follow a conductor.
Take part in live shows. 登録する a choir, a 歌う group または even a drama society. Get yourself on stage and have fun!
Other than that, just make sure あなた practice a lot!! (which is something your 歌う teacher will say to あなた anyway)
