yeah.. i agree w/ Vampiregirl42.. theres a difference btw Asking.. & forcing.. & if u wanna say he asked...go read the book again... now Bella's even more confused.. she might love him...but i kno that it's not like Edward... if Edward was not there.. then yeah.. she would... because she wouldn't kno more Love than that... but Edwards there.. soo she knows way more Love than ever..

Hello! He's trying to open her eyes! She does/did love him, she had just lied to herself so much, or tricked heself into thinking she didn't. And that's not healthy, not admitted to yourself what th problem is, or how you really feel to OYURSELF is unhealthy. I think Jacob for making her realize her true feelings, that she should never have been ashamed of having.

I say this becasue no - you can not really force someone to love you and then yes becasue he makes him feel sorry for him, makes her need him which makes her love him so....

Jacob is forcing Bella to love him!!!! It so obvious! Infact, I can not believe we are debating this. Did you guys read New Moon? 3/4 of the book was Jacob forcing Bella to love him.

It's not his fault. Yeah, he's making her realize that she loves him, but that's it. You can't force somebody to love you. Making someone feel sorry for you doesn't make them love you, just pity you.

no, because remeber at the end of eclipse, he said he was going to let her choose and let her go to edward, and that proves he loves her more, well, if he let her go, how is he forcing her??

i think he was forcing her, the perfect example is when in eclipse, just before he goes to the battle, he says he will, basically, commit suicide if she doesn't kiss him. and then she's all 'oh! i do love you oh my gawd!' that chapter really pissed me off. he manipulated her into thinking she loved him. i agree she does love him, but not passionately, not even half as much as she loves edward.
