Huh? I don't see anything wrong with being a Mormon. It's not like she's some terrorist or something... Anyway, Stephenie Meyer rocks, mormon or not mormon!

religon doesn't matter in books unless she writing religious books which she isn't so being mormon has nothing to do with her being a mormon author actully that makes it better because her books aren't bloody or gross like the stepen king books are . so people shouldn't care if she mormon or not because being mormon doesn't matter with her books in the twilight series it doesn't mention hardly any relgion in her books so peolpe should worry about it because mormons aren't any different than any other christen religions there just about the same as the other ones.

It's no big deal as long as she isn't trying to force her views on her readers. The only thing that worries me a little is she wants all the movies to be a rating of no higher than PG-13 because if any get an R rating she won't be able to see it because the prophet of the church has stated that mormons shouldn't watch anything higher than a PG-13 rating. It just makes me wonder what they'll do about Breaking Dawn.

I wish those who said they cared that she is mormon would have commented as to why. I grew up mormon but have fallen away because I don't believe everything they do but not all of them are awful stuck up people, only some.

It doesn't matter to me because 1) she doesn't force her view of the world on other people, 2) she's a great writer and 3) I'm also Mormon and I don't plan on falling away from the church. But what happens happens and you can't stop it. I can see why she wants them all to be no higher than PG-13. Every time I go to church on Sunday, all my friends and even some of my leaders and I talk about it. It's nice to know that I have a chance in the 'writing world'. not that my religion would have anything to do with it- but still, itz nice to know. I love the Twilight books and Stephenie Meyer and I'm glad there's people out there that dont mind she's Mormon.

actually, i do care. that's what got me interested. besides, the books are cleaner than the probably would have been if a non-member wrote them.
