htat was just leah's idea or theory of why it happened ...it hink it was her way of explaing (to herself) why sam imprinted on emily rather than leah, with her not being able to have children, which we don't is due to being a werewolf or not

Personally, I think that imprinting just finds their perfect match, their soul mate, their better half, the one person that gets them perfectly and understands. It doesn't matter about stronger werewolves because, it wouldn't make sense for a half vampire and a shapeshifter to get together. Since technically they aren't ever werewolves.

I say they are a good match because a vampire is strong, fast, and can live forever if not destroyed. I mean if you combine all of that with the telepathy, and shape shifting abilities, you have the ultimate living weapon. Not only are they a great fighter but they still have the humanity of themselves. I just don't really think that Renesme can have children. He might have to catch her when she is only in the short time of a young teenager for her to have a child.
