Why is there not a "No" option?
Harry Potter changed release dates b/c the producers decided they wanted the last two movies to be closer together.
Twilight didn't take on the new release date (originally suppose to come out in December) until AFTER Harry Potter moved to 2009.

oh and WB wanted a big summer movie to pull in the money and due to the writer strike HP was the only movie that they would have to use so then twilight took over HP's spot since it is at a better time near thanksgiving and they dont have to worry about HP competing with it. im happier that twilight is sooner but i still desperately wish HP was in nov. i would totally wait till december or even later for twilight just to have my HP back.

They say it's because of how summer movies do better and get more money. It's either that or they just haven't finished post-production yet and I tend to lean towards the latter, just because it took them so long to put a trailer together, so it must be taking them a while to put the whole movie together.

But, I'm 99.9% certain it's not for Twilight-related reasons.

Twilight was simply taking advantage of the opening in time slots and moved the movie up. I don't think they had anything to do with each other.

they just want more money and think a summer release will assure it
