Being engaged was incrediable. This time had nothing on the last time. Edward and I had heald eachother, and were going to be eathothers stitches that held our scars together.

We had yet to tell anyone, though we planed on doing so very soon. Mason had helped pick out the ring, but I wasn't sure if he knew why Edward had gotten it. What exactly it symbolized. So, as I climbed the stairs so his room, I could hear him banging is action figures around with sound affects. I knocked on his door and opened it slightly. "May I come in?"

"Sure." He smiled at me and got back to buisness.

"What are あなた doing?" I asked as I took a シート, 座席 on his bed.

"Playing Spiderman turns into a bad guy." He told me.

"Oh, sounds like lots of fun."

"It is." He nodded. "Do あなた want to play, too?" He paused and looked up at me.

"No, thank you. I actually came to talk to you. Could あなた come up and sit with me?" I patted his comforter beside me.

He put down his toys and climbed up beside me, sitting on his feet. "What about?"

"About my ring the Edward bought me." I showed it to him. "Do あなた know what he got it for?"

He pursed his lips to the side, a sign he was thinking, but shook his head.

"It means Edward and I are going to get married."

He gasped and shot up on his knees. "Like Uncle Em and Aunt Rose?"

"Yes. Would that be okay with you?"

"Oh yes!" He cried and jumped down. "Would that make Edward my real dad?"

"Not exactly." I shook my head. "Would あなた like him to be your dad?"

"Yeah! That would be really cool."

"Well, I will talk to him and we will see." I smoothed his hair.

"Okay." He smiled and finished playing.

I smiled back at him and left the room, padding down to my office where I slowly opened the door. We had cleaned out the room leaving it barewhite with dark hardwood flooring. I closed my eyes and breathed in the room imagining a nusery with a white ベビーベッド and chair sat. A white border ran in the middle of the room with a dark tan coloring under it. A sheet behind the crib, a small chandlier, and a small white dresser. But I opened my eyes to the still bare room.

Sighing I closed the door and turned, jumping 15 feet in the air when I saw Edward standing behind me. I gasped and clutched my ハート, 心 after hitting his chest playfully. "You scared the crap out of me."

"I'm sorry." He chuckled. "What were あなた looking at?"

"A bare room." I sighed and leaned against the door.

"Why?" His brows furrowed.

"Because I want to do something with that room. It's plain....unoccupied."

"We could...put your office back in there?" He suggested but I shook my head. "A small library, a playroom for Mase-" He was cut off によって the phone ringing.

"I will get it." I rushed to our room and picked up the phone. "Hello?"

"Bella, hi." Alice chirped. "Are あなた going to the Gala Sunday?"

"The Gala? Like the hospital Gala? That's Sunday? As in two days?"

"Yeah. Edward hasn't told あなた yet?"

"No." I shook my head though she couldn't see me. "We've been....busy."

"Oh, I see." I could hear her smile. "Well Rose and I are going dress shopping tomorrow. Are あなた in?"

"Yeah, sure. What time?"

"Breakfast at 9 at the cafe on the corner where we used to go in high school."

"Okay." I smiled at the memories. "See あなた tomorrow. Bye."

"Bye, Bella."

I hit the end button and walked back out to where Edward was now standing with the door open. "You were thinking about a nusery weren't you?" He asked.

I bit my lip. "What makes あなた think that?"

"Because I am, too."

I walked over and slid my arms around his waist, pressing my face into his back. "How does it feel?"

"Like my ハート, 心 is going to burst." He looked back over his shoulder and down at me. "I joy because I can imagine there being a tiny little human here, but hurt because there isn't."

"I know." I sighed. "That was Alice." I told him changing the subject. About the Gala Sunday."

He turned around quickly, his mouth hanging open. "I completly forgot about it."

"I know." I smiled. "I told her we were 'busy'."

He grined and leanded down to キッス me. "That we were."

"So tomorrow," I leaned back, "We are gonig dress shopping. Rose, Alice and myself, at 9. Could あなた keep Mason intertained for a day?"

"Absolutly." He nodded.


"Oh, Rose! Grab that red one. And that black one!" ALice was shouting across the dress store. "Bella grab that dark blue one behind あなた and that white and black one."

I shook my head smiling and grabbed the dresses in my size. "Alice." I groaned. "This isn't a dress. It's a hand towel."

"Oh, hush you. Try it on." She waved me into the dressesing room.

I stripped of my clothing and tried on the long white and black one first.

It looped around my neck and had a cut out between my bust, to wich Rose and Alice gave a yes to. I then tried on the blue hand towel Alice called a dress. I scoffed. Dress. It had studs above the bust and along the pockets. It wasn't as short as it was on the hanger. They gave an absolute yes to it.

I wound of getting the hand towel, Alice a knee length yellow dress and Rose a long red dress.

As we were leaving the store my phone started to ring. I pulled it out and smiled when I saw it was Edward. "Hello?"

"Bella? Um, Mason and I are at the E.R."

"Why?" I stopped dead causing Alice and Rose to fall over me. "Sorry." I whispered.

"Mason broke his arm."



"Well, it does appear that it is broken. We will put him in a cast for 6 weeks and it should heal. Children usually heal faster than adults または teenagers."

"Thank you, Dr. Cullen."

"Bella, あなた aren't on shift. Call me Carlisle."

"Sure." I smiled.

"Now, Mr. Mason," Carlisle adressed him. "What color do we want."

"Black." He 発言しました simply. "So it will match my tut-seedo tomorrow."

"Alright." Carlisle chuckled. "Black it is."

Two hours later we were back home, with Mason sound asleep in bed.

"I'm so sorry, Bella." Edward came up behind me while I was starting my bathwater.

"For what?"

"Mase. I should have been watching him もっと見る closely."

"Edward, he's a five 年 old boy. Things happen." I shrugged. "I forgive あなた completely." I kissed him.

"Good." He sighed into my kiss. "Now, what do あなた say we start on filling up that empty room." Me smiled and started unbuttoning my shirt.

"I think that's the best thing anyone has 発言しました to me all day." I smiled and 塔の上のラプンツェル my fingers in his hair.

Baby talk in in the air!!! Not sure if it will happen right off the bat または not. I have never broken my arm または any other part of my body for that matter, but my little brother did break his foot when he was two because I told him to jump off my ベッド and onto my dresser....he didn't make it.

I don't own twilight, though I would be rolling in the dough if I did. But I do own a ラット terrior named Sammy that thinks he's a rabbit:)
