Chapter 1: For as long as we both shall exist… (Nessie's POV)

His eyes trailed down to my neckline, “My mother’s necklace?” He asked in wonder stated as a question. I nodded and responded softly, “I wanted for her to be here today and this is the only way that I knew how.” I noticed that Billy, Rachel and Rebecca had tears in their eyes at my words, I smiled at them softly. Jake looked at me unable to speak, “thank you,” he finally whispered as he wiped my tears away and then leaned down and kissed me sweetly. I wrapped my arms around his neck.
