Edward's POV
*30 分 later*
“So what does this mean, Alice?” I asked.
“I don’t know. Let’s just go back downstairs and see if the オオカミ are here. Maybe that’s why I can’t see the party. If anything new happens, then I’ll let あなた know. I promise,” she 発言しました heading out the door.
The whole family was gathered in Carlisle’s study, talking about the sudden disappearance of the party.
“Okay,” I said. I headed down the stairs. The first thing I did was look for Bella. I got down to where I left her. She wasn’t there. I walked to the キッチン to see if she was there. She wasn’t in there either. I guessed she went to my bedroom, searching for me.
I went up the stairs calling for her. I reached the 秒 story and saw Carlisle.
“Edward, what are あなた doing?” he asked.
“Looking for Bella. Has she been up here?”
“No. Was she downstairs?” he asked.
“No.” I started getting worried now.
“Calm down. She’s probably just hiding in your room. あなた know how she hates parties,” he 発言しました reassuring me.
“Yeah, you’re probably right,” I said.
I ran to my bedroom and flung the door open. She wasn’t in there either. I went to Alice and Jasper’s room searching for her. Then I ran to Carlisle and Esme’s room. She wasn’t there either. I only started praying that she was in Rosalie and Emmett’s room.
Before I opened the door, I asked, “Bella, are あなた in there?”
No answer.
I flung the door open. She wasn’t in there either. Now I started panicking. I ran back downstairs and went to the DJ table. I grabbed the microphone from Emmett.
“Hey, what are あなた doing?” he asked.
I ignored him and said, “Excuse me everyone. Have あなた seen Bella anywhere?”
I saw Jacob and his フレンズ walking towards me. He reached me and said, “What? Have あなた ロスト your girlfriend already?” he 発言しました laughing.
“Shut up, Jacob. I can’t find her anywhere,” I said.
“I just saw her walk outside with a guy,” 発言しました a voice. I turned to it immediately. It was Jessica Stanley.
“Jessica, come here please. The rest of あなた can continue,” I 発言しました handing the microphone back to Emmett.
While Emmett started up another song, I met Jessica in the middle of the floor. Of course, Jacob had to follow.
“What did this guy look like?” I asked.
“He was about your height. He had brown hair, topaz eyes. He had Bella’s skin color. He talked to me before あなた went upstairs with Alice. He was looking for Bella. I pointed her out to him and he just walked off,” she said. Then I saw the mental picture of him in her head. I didn’t recognize him at first. “Why? Is there something wrong, Edward?”
“No. Everything is okay. あなた can go back to the party now,” I said.
She walked off and I started towards the kitchen, pulling Alice and Emmett with me. I froze right before I got to the kitchen. It was right where I left Bella. I picked up a scent that I haven’t smelled in a long time. Lorenzo’s scent.
Lorenzo had been an old friend of mine. He was half vampire, half witch. He use to 愛 this girl, but one 日 she went off and killed herself because I told her what he was. He had always blamed me and 発言しました I had it coming one day. We were no longer friends.
His scent was mixed in with Bella’s. I started to fear the worst. I knew now what must have happened. Jacob, Emmett, and Alice must of noticed this scent too.
“Edward, is that your old friend’s, Lorenzo’s scent?” Emmett asked.
“Yes, Emmett. It is.”
I ran out the door. Jacob and Alice followed me. Emmett went to the キッチン to get the others.
“Hey, bloodsucker. What’s going on?” Jacob asked.
I followed the trail to the driveway and stopped.
“Bella has been kidnapped,” was all I said.
