did あなた think the elevator scene was funny? (in new moon)

remember the part in new moon where jane is leading them through the volterra? yeah, well... あなた know how they were in the elevator and it was really awkward...did あなた find it funny?

I smirked at it, the whole uncomfortable elevator 音楽 that I was hoping for did take place, but I think it would have been もっと見る funny if they would have used a もっと見る cheesey sound, then the classical opera 音楽 they played. Knowing the tension though, it made it a little amusing. But it wasn't Laugh out loud.

Everyone in an awkward state and there's weird 音楽 in the back round, it just makes an awkward moment even もっと見る weird. To make all of these characters feel even もっと見る awkward then they already were was sopost to be the point...it was sopost to be comical, which it probably would have been if something a little もっと見る cheesey would have been playing...like ICE ICE Baby または something...lol.

there were ppl in my theatre that laughed. ive seen it twice, the 秒 time i watched it... im like... THATS what they were laughing at... then i laughed a little... but at first i had no clue what they were laughing at.

i have so many 閲覧数 on this. this made some people laugh....and it was supposed to be all serious. i feel like i have over analysed it though... haha oh well.

Also because I watched this interview of Charlie Bewley. He was explaining the Elevator scene and when I watched New Moon, I just thought of this interview and I cracked up.

sure, if あなた think about it it doesn't fit the story at all and makes absolutely no sense, but i really think it's just so funny because of that absurdity and akwardness. i think the ambivalence between the plot & its tension and the very casual setting makes it absolutely hilarious (altough i would have put really cheesy elevator 音楽 in the background to underline that aspect).
great idea, mr weitz または whoever came up with it.
