"Sethus!" William shouted as he neared the double doors of the sky-scraper. Militiamen stood in a line at attention, modified rifles in their hands. They were garbed in the same black uniforms, armor, and helmets as William and his troops. One of them stepped out of line. He wore a red band around his upper arm.
"Sir?" the youth said.
"Command your men to stand down and retreat."
Without arguing または hesitating, Sethus shouted the orders to his men and ran through the double doors. William waited until every man was inside before he followed.
Civilians in business SUITS/スーツ were rushing out the back doors, hurrying in a tidal wave of panic.
"The Bots are going to get here before the civvies get out," Sam stated, "We have to slow down those tin soldiers!"
William nodded in agreement and called three of his men to him. Sasha, their metic, Alyec, the rookie, and Reckon came to him in an instant. They nodded in agreement to their commander's orders and ran off to carry out their plan.
Sam turned to follow them, but William caught the mercenary's arm.
"Wait a moment, Sam. I have a special job for you."

First 日 of summer and I'm already bored. I'm not bored enough to want to back to school. I'm just lonely bored. L. J called me several times this morning wondering if I was okay and if I wanted to go some place with him. I kindly rejected him. If it wasn't Jennifer または Tammie calling then I don't want to hear. Velvet signed me up book club thing. I do like to read 本 and she thought that maybe I could meet some new フレンズ that have something in common with me. I think she is full of baloney. Velvet made me promise to go to the first meeting tomorrow. I don't know. We'll see how my mood is によって tomorrow.
