Chapter 19
    The girl named Serache
    “Aren’t あなた supposed to be at home, I watch the news too あなた know.” Rob, Cadence’s uncle said, as soon as I stepped foot on his boat.
    “My parents are a bit pre-occupied at the moment, there both at work, but my mom’s probably at the police station. Doesn’t matter, I have to ask あなた something.”
    “And what is that?” Rob asked, eyeing me warily.
    “Did あなた ever happen to see a girl with bubble gum ピンク hair at that ボート over there?” I asked.
    Rob rubbed his chin. “I think there was a girl with ピンク hair. Why? Does Cadence know you’re here?”
    “Again, doesn’t matter.” I said, taking a deep breath. “What about a girl with black/blonde hair.”
    Rob shrugged. “I remember this girl with shoulder length black hair entering here an 表示中 me a picture of this girl with the same hair color.”
    “Thanks so much! It means a lot!” I give him a quick hug and run out the door, I can distinctly hear him muttering something like ‘kids these days’, but I ignore that and exit his boat.
    I look to the ボート itself quickly but turn away, as I make my way out of the dock. I was only there for Serache, but I asked for my attacker and I got an unexpected answer, I was pleased.
    I wanted to go to the dock and try to make a trace of her, but since I couldn’t do that, I’d have to settle on technology. I went straight to my computer and typed ボート disaster victims.    
    Haven and my sister were there, and so were plenty of other girls, I couldn’t find Serache. So I typed in Serache for good measure, but I got nothing. I sighed, as I went back to the site that showed a lot of the ‘victims’.
    Most of them was the people that caused the crime, I found the leader of the group and I opened another tab to type in her name.
    There was some pictures of her with her group of friends, one of the girls was the one they humilaited, her smile seemed strained, as if she forced to be there.
    I skimmed through a lot of them and soon enoguh I found a picture of just Serache and her.
    ‘Meredith Donners and Serache Hollis, cousins and best friends’, the タイトル read. I gaped. Cousins? There not friends, certainly not best. I guessed each other’s parents set them up.
    I squinted my eyes at Serache, trying to find any recgonition, but again none came. Then why does she look so familiar? Like I’ve actaually met her before, from somewhere.
    But where?
    I racked my brain, trying to think. Sudden;y I heard my sister’s voice.
    “Stay away from her, she’s my sister, not yours. And if she gets invovled you’ll have hell to pay Hollis.” She 発言しました harshly.
    I was standing in the middle of school, and Dorothy was glaring at Serache.
    “She seems cool, and I won’t bring her near us. I can be フレンズ with her!”
    “No! あなた can’t! She’s off limits, あなた hear me? Off! Back off Hollis, あなた don’t know who your dealing with and what your getting to. And nowone’s going to help you, not even your cousin.”
    Just like that I brought back to the present, and I scrunched up my eyebrows. We did know each other, または at least met a few times.
    But why can’t I remember?
    I tried real hard but no connections came, I could barely remember anything that had to do with my sister’s friends. She’s never wanted me to meet them, I’d always thoguht because she thoguht I was lame, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
    I have to find out all I can of the girl named Serache.
