Narrator's POV
It's now October. A 月 has passed since Reaver's and Lila's encounter together. Reaver has kept her distance from Lila, now knowing that she's a Slayer. Lila has donebher best in keeping a close eye on Reaver, assuming she's a vampire. The 日付 is October 31, 2012. It is the 日 of the ハロウィン dance. Everyone in Bathory High had a date. Everyone, except Reaver. She didn't mind that she was alone for the dance. She didn't even like dances. But she went anyway since it was mandatory. She still kept her distance from Lila, though.
Reaver's POV
I just saw Lila walk out with her date. Probably going to make out または something. The farther from me, the better. I looked at everyone dance. They looked that they were having a good time. All of a sudden, a boy with dark hair and even darker eyes came up to me.
"Would あなた like to dance?"
I turned around to look behind me. Was he talking to me?
Then, as if 読書 my mind, he said, "Yeah, I'm talking to you."
"Um...sure."
We began dancing.
Narrator's POV
Reaver and the mysterious fellow danced throughout the entire night. The dance was now over.
Lila's POV
With my hair and clothes dishoveled, I immediately went to the bathroom to straighten myself out. I couldn't remember the name of the boy I had just screwed around with, but that didn't matter. Once I walked out of the bathroom, I saw Reaver with Xavier. He was the Slayer spy I paid to hang out with Reaver for the night. Once he got her alone, I would exterminate her on the spot. I follwed them out of the school.
Reaver's PIV
I learned his name was Xavier. We walked out of the school and down the street. I didn't know where we were going, but I didn't care. A boy actually wanted to spend time with me. I felt suddenly wanted. I felt like I wasn't alone anymore.
I hadn't realized Xavier stopped walking. I turned to him. I noticed we were in a secluded part of a wooded area. I didn't like where this was going.
Xavier smiled at me.
I began backing up. "Um, I should go." I turned to leave, when I felt a hand slam down on my wrist. I turned to Xavier, whose hand was holding my wrist tightly.
"You're not going anywhere, bloodsucker."
My eyes widened. He knew I was a vampire. He was a probablyone of Lila's spies. Just as I thought her name, I felt a sharp pain through my chest. It was as if something sharp stabbed right through. Had Xavier stabbed me? No way. I would have healed によって now. I looked down at my chest and my world went dark.
Lila's POV
I had just finished staking Reaver when I watched her collapse. I looked over her body, smiling. "Let's get out of here", I heard Xavier say.
Before I followed after him, I grabbed Reaver's doll. The doll that she had been carrying with her for the entire dance. The doll she had been carrying before I staked her. I promised myself that once I got home, I would burn it. Like I usually do to all my victim's treasures. Burning their most prized possesion, erasing their entire lives out of existence. As if they never existed.
