Will someone explain to me..

What Hide is doing in season two?
Does he know what is going on with Kaneki?
What's his point of being a mail man to the GCC?
There are so many details that are left out it's annoying.

In the first season of TOkyo Ghoul the アニメ shows that he was awake the entire time. That means that Hide does in fact know that Kaneki is a ghoul so what he's doing is looking out for his friend. Hide becomes the mailman of the CCG to make sure that the CCG doesn't find out about KAneki and doesn't kill him. From the start of the 表示する until the end, what Hide and Kaneki have been doing were all to look out for each other, only Hide knew Kaneki was looking out for him and Kaneki doesn't know Hide is looking out for him. That's what makes Tokyo Ghoul even もっと見る supplied with feels.
