PEOPLE!!!! : Damon is NOT Elena's father. He CANNOT be. Damon told Elena that vampires cant have children. In episode 1x11 he told her "Vampires cant procreate."

Plus, I dont think he slept with Isobel, he just said that to Alaric to piss him off. Isobel seemed to be extremely in love with Alaric in the flashback scenes, so I dont think she would cheat on him.

Damon just turned Isobel in to a vampire.
