The 次 morning Stefan woke up on the ground 次 to Elena’s ベッド of which he’d apparently had fallen off. He scribbled up and looked at Elena. She looked so peaceful, her arms wrapped around her teddy bear. It was almost a shame to wake her up. But he did anyway. He leaned フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして and kissed her cheek. “Psst, Elena? Wake up, sweetheart. The sun’s already up” Elena stayed asleep. Stefan carefully tapped her arm. “Elena?” Elena made a violent 移動する with her arm and nearly slapped Stefan, if he hadn’t stepped backwards. She groaned and turned on her other side. Stefan grabbed the sheets and pulled them away. Her eyes closed Elena touched for the sheets and when she couldn’t find them she pulled up her knees and wrapped her arms around them to warm herself. Stefan, who thought his girlfriend was being silly, got tired of it and dropped the sheets on the floor. He walked to the door, opened it, walked out and slammed it.
Elena opened her eyes. She had to wake up alone, without Stefan. When they met again last night he had wanted to celebrate it in the best way he could think of. But Elena wasn’t ready for that. And Stefan could claim she already had all he wanted, she didn’t remember, and so it never happened. For now she could reject him, but she couldn’t keep doing that. She closed her eyes and tried to remember what she had dreamt. It had been a very weird dream. There was a voice calling her name. A familiar voice, though she couldn’t point its owner. She followed the voice and ran over fields and up hills. But when the voice faded away and she thought she’d see who called her, she only saw an open earth field with black clouds floating above it.
Elena opened her eyes again and took a deep breath. She had to get up. Maybe they could check on Damon today. He left so suddenly, Elena didn’t want him to feel like a third wheel. They were friends, they could still hang out. But first she needed something for her back. It itched like crazy.

Katherine was sitting on a chair. A row of small stakes pinched each arm to the arm-rests and a special kind of muzzle kept her mouth shut. The muzzle also had stakes, smaller than the arm stakes, and they pierced through Katherine’s jaws. “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” Veronica 発言しました demeaning. “Actually, I’m not. あなた had this coming. あなた broke in here, あなた threatened me” She took a chair and put it down in front of Katherine. “Such a pity Derek chose the wrong side. Katherine managed to produce a smirk.
“Oh, don’t be so smug” Veronica sniffed. “I’ll get to him. He’s the one that killed Kelsey. He will die a slow and painful death” she said, もっと見る to herself than to Katherine. She stood up and walked to a corner, where she picked up her cross-bow. “In the meantime” she said, while she aimed the crossbow at Katherine. “I have あなた to have fun with” and she fired.
Katherine managed to produce a smirk.

“Where’s Barbie?” Katherine asked when Stefan was standing on the front porch of the Boarding House. She had gotten used to the sight of him with Rebekah.
“She’s out, doing something” Stefan explained vague. “Can I come in?”
Katherine shrugged and let him pass. Stefan turned around. “I’m looking for Elena. Is she here?”
“No, she’s at school. あなた should know that” Katherine 発言しました uninterested.
“Not anymore she isn’t” Stefan said. “School’s over”
“Then she’s probably at the Grill” Katherine said, a little annoyed. “What do あなた need her for anyway?”
“I want to apologize for what happened last time she came over” Stefan said. “And I want to make sure she’s okay. I mean, I know Rebekah’s blood already left her system によって now, but still, it must have freaked her out”
