Other 本 as addictive as The Hunger Games?

I've read The hunger Games and Catching Fire. I still need to buy a copy of Mockingjay and I will probably do that today または tomorrow, but what are other 本 that will hook me as quickly as THG?

I've never really been a big reader. In fact, last 年 I read one book.... and the 年 before that, also just one which I had already read a few years prior. The Hunger Games is the only book/trilogy I have been unable to put down, while I sort of just force myself to finish other 本 like Contact and Stranger In A Strange Land, being only semi-interested in them.

To give あなた some perspective, a book like Contact によって Carl Sagan which I did like and read twice, took me about a 月 to read cover to cover both times. I read the first two HG 本 in just under a week... So yeah, I was kind of obsessed with them...

What are other 本 that may hook me? Don't mention Twilight please. I've read some of the first book but just could not get into it...

If あなた haven't read Harry Potter, あなた might wanna try it now. It may seen a little childish at the beginning, I guess it depends on the person. But it's truly amazing.
And there's The Percy Jackson series. It's 5 books, and later there's another series related but it's not necessary to read. It's about a guy named Percy who learns the greek gods actually exist and Zeus the big guy thinks Percy has stolen his lightning bolt.
There's also The Divergent Trilogy, but the last book hasn't came out yet. The first two 本 are just... fantastic. It has a theme like The Hunger Games (People are divided into districts, But here it depends on their personality.) It's about a girl names Beatrice that's turning 16 and has to choose whether stay in her own district with her family, または choose another one where she thinks she belongs.
It's gotten pretty long but all three are worth a try!

あなた have got to read The Mortal Instrumennts によって Cassandra Clare. My friend had me read them. It's a 5-book series and the 6th comes out later. I finished the first 3 in a 月 and they're 300-400 page books. I finishes THG in 3 weeks, the whole series. I think you'll really like it. ;)

well...dont hate me..but twilight is really good, the beginning is kinda boring, keep 読書 , it will get better.and also i really like jacqueline Wilson's books, they are kinda short, and childish, but great :)

I have a couple of 本 あなた would like if あなた liked the Hunger Games: Divergent によって Veronica Roth and Matched によって Allie Condie. Those two book have series (but I assume あなた can 検索 that up yourself). They are similar to the Hunger Games and have a similar amount of romance in it. If あなた somehow like magic または mystical things, I recommend Jessica Sorensen. Almost all her 本 are ヴァンパイア または magical (with quite a bit of romance) but it's not like Twilight at all. I promise. The Fallen 星, つ星 series (4 本 in the series) was absolutely amazing and wayyyy too addicting.

The Host (Yes, I know it's によって the same lady who wrote Twilight, but this book is a HUGE step up from Bella and Edward. Trust me, I read Twilight and didn't like it much either.)

(although I'm not sure I'm ready for that, because as soon as the movie comes out, everyone will stop talking about it and it'll start to get annoying. That's why I 愛 THG, but at the same time, I hate it now).

anyways, Divergent is definitely worth reading!
Uglies and Matched are also similar to THG.

2) Witch and Wizard Series
3) The Seer of Shadows
4) The Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series

Also, if you're into Historical Fiction, the Bloody Jack series によって LA Meyer is really good. They're set in like the 17 または 18 hundreds, and center around a girl who dresses as a boy, and turns pirate, and I'm crappy with descriptions, but they're really good.

Also, of course, Harry Potter, :-P

And then, if あなた like dystopian novels, I'm 読書 this really good one right now called "Rot & Ruin", によって Jonathan Maberry, and it's about a post-apocalyptic world with zombies.

And then, the "Chemical Garden" 本 によって Laren DeStefano are also really good.

Also, the "Uglies" series, によって Scott Westerfeld

And the "Generation Dead" series, によって Dan Waters.

Also "Graceling" and its sequels, によって Kristin Cashore

I could go on forever, but these are just some 本 that I found VERY addicting, hope this helps!
